He may as well don’t even think about coming then.PG won’t take a 3rd seat to Brunson and Randle, even taking second banana to Brunson is asking to much of him prob. PG ain’t mentally there yet imo.
You might be able to squeeze second on the pecking order but def not 3rd. Don’t think Randle has enough cache yet. Brunson is on the cusp , so the best you can get is second and even then he gonna want the rock a lot still.
PG is still good at basketball contrary to what a lot of people think.
Brunson is a legit superstar in his prime. He would no doubt not jump above him on the pecking order. Maybe you can make the case more on Randle. But if Randle is a #3 option you might as well not even have randle on the roster. He's not a catch and shoot floor spacing big.
PG is good. No one is arguing that. Someone always has to take a back seat when you have 3 options. That is why I said he would have to be ready for that .
This is Brunson team and whoever we get needs to compliment him.
You missing my point. As I said earlier it’s not about him jumping the pecking order. It’s about is he ready to accept the pecking order.my answer is no. And because of that he should stay away.
PG was still moving like he was #1 with Harden and Kwahi on the team I’m just saying.

Yeah that why I said the Knicks would need to do there due diligence as well. If PG isn't going to sacrifice and be willing to take on a different role. More C&S and more defensive role like his earlier INDY days. Then we should pass as well.
We are in an important crossroads where we have a star and an identity and you don't want to bring in someone that isn't going to fully buy in.

That’s where the knicks are in tight spot. Brunson is a new star…..so the question what ‘older’ star will bow down.
NBA players stars have huge egos.
The problem is…young upcoming stars are hard to trade for.

I would actually take a chip run serious with PG on the squad.
I’m not in the camp that Brunson should be the #1 to get us a chip.
But you would take a 34 year old PG as #1? That's some serious backward logic.
The first butt hurt comment.
I don’t care about age.
Im thinking about Jru Holiday.
Cry somewhere else cause I have my own opinion.
If you don’t think PG on this squad being featured takes us to another level I don’t know what to tell you.

You don’t start a convo with an underhand comment and expect anything respectful in return.
He the only one who was butt hurt to what I said and talking out the side of his neck.
I have can have a convo all day. Starting off like that you going to get that same energy back.

Butt hurt? What are you, 10? Grow up, man. You just don't make any sense. You're suggesting PG should be #1 here, while also paying him North of 45 mil with a decline in production incoming. Never mind the whole playoff suspect and injury concerns. I just don't get how you're putting him #1 over JB.

Indeed but if a vet isn't willing to sacrifice to win probably should pass. .he's 34 and clippers aren't winning anything so if he wants to have an legit chance at a chip he will need to realize he isn't a #1.
If he can't come to the realization the Knicks will just look elsewhere. I think a while back they said the Knicks interest in PG last year was overblown.
I think they are looking for a player more on Brunsons timeline...but like you said someone in there prime or a younger players is much harder to trade for.

Not possible, people have not had a chance to wrap their head around the new rules of the cba.
When you aquire more than 100% of outgoing trade you are hardcapped.
Or if you acquire a player in s&t you get hard capped.
This trade would put them way over hard cap.
Decline bogs, and then have randle + fillers to make a legal trade.
