Either Morey is trying to reestablish leverage or he got intel that PG is re-signing with the Clippers or in general doesn't want to come to the Sixers.

My money all along has been on Jimmy Butler. I think it's entirely possible the Sixers could trade for him on draft night.

That could be fine, if they're not giving up any more than 16 and that 26 OKC 1st. Don't have any clue why Miami agrees to that, though.

Well they aren't going to trade him unless he wants out because they aren't paying him. If he wants out and they have to trade him, I don't think many teams will be interested. So the return probably won't be hefty.

If there's another guy the Heat could get... say Paul George?, then I could see it.

As of right now my gut tells me it's Brandon Ingram and KCP as the big additions this summer. I'm going to scream this until draft night is over though. We need to keep our pick. Sure, trade for Ingram, but we can't come off of this pick to do so. It's probably the last decent draft pick we're going to have for a few years.

Welp if he goes to Utah then Lauri won’t touch the market. Idk what Sixers would want him for. No one will trade for that salary before the deadline or next offseason. Morey would have to truly be intrigued by him Maxey and embiid big 3.
