I think Vuc coming back would be great offensively and for our rebounding, which needs work. He can get us 18 and 11 still, hitting a 3 or two in the process. Obviously not the rim protection we need though. I seriously hope we’re not entertaining Lavine or Derozan.

If the Magic sign Malik Monk they will probably be my favorite team next season. Anthony Black was my favorite prospect from last years draft and Ive been looking for an excuse to watch them more.

Presti has a track record of fumbling rebuilds exactly around this consolidation stage. I think Giddey is already better than Caruso and is 9 years younger with an all-star potential.

Is the calculus fundamentally different when you're making win now moves versus future value moves and Presti is a future value savant with no idea how to win now?

What?!

What do you mean 'What?!'. I don't think it's smart to lock up $20 mil of cap space on a offense-only bench center that can't play any other positions. Our team needs so much help at the guard spot that I can't fathom why some of you would welcome trading assets for a bench center that would eat up a ton of cap space.

im comfortable with our center spot. Unless we were bringing in a shot blocking, defensive center, which Vuc is not. Would rather use #18 on Da Silva, Jalen Tyson, Dadiet, or maybe even DaRon Holmes. but Vuc at $20mil next year and $21mil the following...no thanks.
