But we can’t. We can get KAT, but of course everybody finds that outrageous.

so many people are going to eat their words about randle
NiceLikeChrist wrote:So PG would not be ready to accept a role as a 3rd option behind Brunson and Randle but he would be ready to accept being a 3rd option being Maxey and Embiid?
If PG doesn’t wanna be a 3rd option then where is he supposed to go? Orlando?

This society is at a dead end. People are so stupid today that I believe any almighty God would’ve struck us with lightning and moved on.

Agreed. How’s his defense?

his mobility and footspeed is pretty decent considering he is a behemoth of a man. Dont expect much in the scoring dept though

I don’t a player who is going to come to the Knicks with that kind of agenda/ego.

Maybe you know PG a lot better than I do but based on what I’ve seen and heard from him I feel like he hasn’t been that type of player in such a long time. He takes a back seat when necessary and keeps applying pressure if he’s hot.
I don’t feel like I’ve seen many games where PG played in a selfish or way too alpha manner. Not unless he was literally the only one out there.
Idk tho I haven’t religiously followed his teams or anything like that

There goes Caruso, damn! Would have loved him here!

Better lower your expectations, Ma.

HopelessKnick wrote:I like it for OKC.....they got a very strong defender while trading away a player they played only 13minutes in the Dallas series. To me this move may put OKC slightly ahead of Dallas, Denver and Minnesota.
For Chicago this is more questionable. Maybe they are thinking that Giddey still has lots of room for improvement. He is good at going to the basket, passing and rebounding but he lacks in two essential areas: shooting and defense. If he can improve in both those areas to the point where he is at least solid this move may pan out for Chicago in the end. This also seems to signal an impending LaVine Trade. Hard to see them have White, Giddey and Lonzo coming back and still keeping LaVine.
It also signals one thing that people should keep in mind. Since the play-in introduction, it seems that 25 out of 30 teams are actually looking to "win now". There seem to be only a couple teams at a time wanting to rebuild through the draft. Chicago preferred to trade Caruso for a player that can provide some immediate help instead of trading him for picks. That's the thinking I've read many times throughout the past 2 years....that even fringe teams prefer immediate help over "draft stock".

Both are outrageous ...because neither fit our team identity. One dude comes up empty when you need him the most, and the other prefers s a cushy environment -where he can ease into retirement - over winning.
