Positive :
Sheppard ( that type of BPM at that age basically never failed to produce at least all star level players, and it's basically never been a small guard too, the reasonable age style stats comps are all pretty insane outcome players.)
Edey (if he's a starter he's probably a top 5 guy in this draft if not top 1)
Most of the older guards ( Sheierman / Simpson / Shead, some of them will be drafted late 1st high 2nd and stick. )
Negative
Clingan: the bar for him if picked top 2-3 is just too much, people need to think through how many defense drop big who is neither some primary offensive threat (Jokic / Sengun / Sabonis ) or a shooter (Lopez) or at least a well above average lob threat (Lively) That they actually value?? the answer is basically Gobert and that's it, the next guy up is basically already an average starter type (Zubac) or doesn't even really guarantee you anything on defense (Kessler). So you're telling me you are drafting someone that unless he's a DPOY is at best an average starter and has the least positional flexibility? (at least small guards can play together on bench units, you never see two true centers even in bench lineups.)
Carrington (it might work, but it might just as easily be a zero, at least for the team that drafts him. if he works it will be the 2nd or 3rd team.)
Risacher ( at least if you're taking him top 4, also if the shot doesn't totally translate that's a backup, if it does he will be an overpaid on second-contract / 3rd contract guy.)
Knecht (he's not better than most of the older guys, and he's mocked like 10-15 spots higher. )
Mattis : seems like a very very theoretical player to me. once in awhile they work, but the odds aren't great, again beyond a certain point it's fine to roll the dice but he's mocked top 8 all the time.
Holland ( if he goes like top 5-6, obviously beyond a certain point it's worth a roll of the dice.) the shot looks way too broken.
I would say Dillingham but a lot of mocks now have him like end of lotto to late teens, at that range I think he's fine value.

Man, it's wild to me how many people think Edey is the best player in this draft. I think he's a smidge underrated, but these guys are way out there on the ledge.

The gap in perception between Clingan (who I am much lower on) and Edey (who I am much higher on) is absolutely mindboggling to me.

Higher
Rob Dillingham - His poor defense and being a short guard could push him out of the lottery. However his offense is just so good that it's hard for me to believe he will fail at the next level. I could see him develop into the mold of Tyrese Maxey or Jalen Brunson if developed in the right system.
Yves Missi - He's quite raw as a prospect, but I believe in the long term that he may actually be a better player than say Donovan Clingan(I included on guys I'm lower on compared to many) and maybe even the best Center in this draft class. Very high motor and is already a good shot blocker, rebounder, and quite athletic. I see prime Clint Capela potential with him if his development goes correctly.
Ron Hollard - I see almost no way he fails in the NBA. Great defender and a good at attacking the basket. At worst, he's a Derrick Jones level player, but a bit better. At best if he is able to develop a somewhat consistent 3pt shot and a consistent mid range, he's probably going to top out as a all NBA level player, which would make him the best player in this draft class.
Lower
Donovan Clingan - I strong question why is he considered a potential 1st overall pick in the draft. Slow footed, combine with lack of offense outside of the paint, and not a great athlete screams role player. If I was a GM of say the Hawks and was set on not taking Alex Sarr while wanting to out of the draft with a center to replace Clint Capela, I would rather trade backwards at that point and take shot on Zack Edey, Yves Missi, or Kel'el Ware than to spend a very high pick on a player like Donovan Clingan. His ceiling appears to be a slightly better version of Ivica Zubic, which is not 1st pick in the draft worthy.
Kyle Filipowski - I just don't see it with this guy. He's bad defender and his 3pt shooting is simply not consistent for that to be reliable. I also don't project him to be a great rebounder neither. There's just not much there. He feel more like a 2nd round pick to me than a 1st round pick.
Stephen Castle - Really, give me Devin Carter anyday of the week over this guy. He has no jumpshot whatsoever and if his defense turns out to not be as good as advertised, he's basically unplayable at the next level. The fact that he's project to drafted over guys like Ron Hollard,Devin Carter,Rob Dillingham or even some of the guys that's not projected in the lottery at all is sad.

Ron Holland should be a top 5 pick.
Tyler Smith should be a lottery pick (the fact that he has not received a green room invite is ridiculous).
Kel'el Ware should be a top 20 lock.
Terrence Shannon Jr should be a top 25 lock.

Jalen Bridges will be better than ten guys taken in the first round. Freeman is an NBA player. Dadiet has a real shot. Holmes plays in the league for awhile too.
Reed can shoot, that translates. There’s going to be an athlete who sneaks in a legit career but I’m not sure which one…Saulan/Holland/etc. There’s going to be a non athlete sneak in too…Bub/George/etc.
Koleck seems like he could fit a niche if he can defend at all.
I have concerns about some of the top ranked guys but haven’t invested enough time into them to comment.

Re: What player do you have a stronger negative/ positive opinion on vs majority?
Negative side
Stephon Castle --
**Questionable and reluctant shooter
**Doesn't beat defenders off the dribble
**Doesn't get to the rim unless someone else gives him an open lane
**Doesn't create advantages
He wants to backdown and bully smaller guards. He has some self-creation in the mid-range, but that doesn't translate well to the NBA. He's a stout defender, but a likely backup 2/3 until he makes defenders guard him. No one is going to fight over a screen for him.
Positive side
Kel'el Ware --
** Has the measurables, athleticism and raw talent to be the best center in this draft.
** Combines rim protection with some outside shooting presence, plus a touch of self-creation.
** It's just the attitude/work-ethic question with him.
