Jasson Dominguez is expected to miss about eight weeks with an oblique strain, according to the New York Yankees.
Aaron Boone relayed the news on Thursday night.
Dominguez will be out for nearly two months before he can play in games because the strain is \"pretty significant.\"
Dominguez arrived in the Major Leagues with a bang in late 2023. He hit four home runs in his first eight games, but soon required Tommy John surgery. The Yankees only reinstated him last week.
