ZWilliams/Luke K for Vuc and the Port 1st
Memphis really needs a starting center and Vuc eats a ton of minutes. He'd be a good fit with their starting lineup and JJJ provides much needed rim protection next to him (plus Vuc is a good rebounder, where JJJ is weak). They also add a future 1st that's not super valuable but worth something
Bulls get a look at Williams (a bust so far, for sure) and Luke can be a bench shooter for a year. Bulls then draft a center at #11 (Ware or Missi?) and resign Drummond. They also save a bunch of 2025-26 salary by clearing Vuc's last year

Re: Mem-Chi
Not sure Memphis wants to be a tax team for Vuc and that pick isn't really much incentive.

Re: Mem-Chi
I’m still in on Dallas getting dropped into this deal even though I’m alone on it…
Vuc and Memphis first to Dallas
Gafford to Memphis
Whatever salary Memphis wants and some from Dallas to Chicago
(Gafford/Powell/Lawson should match Vuc and Dallas can dump THJ for the MLE if DJJ is willing to stick around. If not, go over the first apron maybe?)
Or
Vuc/Kennard/first to Dallas
Gafford to Memphis
THJ/Powell/Lawson to Chicago
But as is..
Memphis shouldn’t spend this much on Vuc and Chicago shouldn’t use a single asset to dump Vuc really. Keep hope alive that Portland is in the playoffs in 3 years.

I guess Memph has to cut Luke to get under the tax? If that's the case, then no deal. I thought they projected under the luxtax with Luke's $ on the books.
Vuc would help Ja and JJJ a lot-and he's a good teammate and solid vet
