I still think they should waive Bojan to avoid the luxury tax and just use their MLE. Mitch and Isiah combined is why the Knicks got past Embiid. That duo isn’t a problem. Bojan was not very good at all since he got traded to the Knicks, isn’t really a Thibs player because he is a defensive liability. He also just had two surgeries, and is 35.

Embiid could barely run. This team isn’t good enough yet.

Mitch is a good player, but he’s a limited specialist who cant stay healthy. Matches up well against bigger dudes like Embiid, but Isaiah is better overall.

Mitch is one of our better assets. Other teams could use him. Isaiah needs to play at least 28-30 mpg if his achilles thing goes away and we pay him 18 mill a year, so that only leaves 18-20 mpg for Mitch. We’re better off using his spot on somebody more versatile, healthier, and ideally cheaper.

Another player who matches up well against bigger dudes like Embiid is KAT.

Sure, but not for Kennard, who Thibs will almost assuredly not play that much.

Yeah, I know he shoots well.

I also know every time I've watched a game with him in it, he rarely impacts it.

Yes, the thinnest of scouting reports, but it works for me.

Mitch might suck on offense, and 30 million is too much to put into two offensively challenged C's, because iShart isn't all that either, but at least Mitch has an impact that is noticeable on defense.

Embiid was healthier than he normally is come to the playoffs and I think the Knicks are closer than the fanbase is ready to admit because it’s was done without bringing in a big name.
