Kings out: Barnes, Huerter, Lyles, Duarte, #13, Portland 2nd
Kings in: Wiggins, Kuzma, #26
Magic out: top 55 protected 2nd
Magic in: Huerter
Warriors out: Wiggins
Warriors in: Lyles
Wizards out: Kuzma, 26
Wizards in: Barnes, Duarte, #13, Portland 2nd
Why for Kings? Get 2 athletic forwards in an all in move. It's going to be expensive luxury to keep one on the bench, but our top 7 looks really strong after.
Why for Magic? With Monk off the board, they may now be interested in saving themselves from Klay. Huerter is a great buy low. They can still create enough space to be free agency players.
Why for warriors? This move frees up a ton of money. Bring back klay because we know they are going to right?, elevate kumingas role, and pick up a cheap bench forward that fits with the team.
Why for wizards? Often discussed. 26 always seems to be a sticking point. Here they get a good value 2nd to make it more agreeable.

Small Ball C. Warriors save 100 million and not have to trade Loon or GP2

Huerter is a bad contract? WTF am I reading? There is news out there Huerter has a lot of interest around the league.
On the trade, I'm not against this type of trade so it's a yes. Mike Brown can get the best out of Wiggins potentially. Maybe.

This doesn’t make sense for the Warriors on its own

Will be interested to see. He's 25 and had 3 pretty good seasons before having an injury plagued drop off last season. He's paid fairly and only has years left. I think some team will take a chance on him for sure. Not assigning any value here, just a neutral piece.

Re: Kings - Warriors - Magic - Wizards
I’ve always kind of liked Huerter but this is a crucial summer or at least a gigantic opportunity to make aggressive moves to improve their team…I would hope ORL exhausts a lot more exciting uses of their cap space (in conjunction with trade chips) than helping facilitate a trade by taking in a guy SAC clearly doesn’t want…Monk’s tearful return is a feel-good story but you’d have to presume his agency determined that the payday he hoped for wasn’t out there. If ORL didn’t want to spend the money on a head-turning offer from Monk, I hope they weren’t holding onto it for this type of move….there’s a whole lot of Huerter-types in UFA that might be better or less expensive.
After the dust settles this summer, if they have enough cap space left, Huerter would be a great supplemental addition.

It's been reported Charlotte and Detroit offered $100m for Monk. Unsure if the Magic went above the Kings' offer, but the latest word was that a lot of teams were in on him.
I get it for Orlando, if there are better guys out there, like PG13 for example you have to explore that instead of Huerter. And I'm not fully over the offense the Magic run and whether Huerter fits. He is a good movement shooter and his playmaking is certainly underrated.
I'm one that still believes the Kings rate him, certainly, the FO does and if we had the same offense as the year prior he wouldn't have had such an inconsistent season.

If Huerter is indeed a negative value contract rather than neutral, he and either Mitchell or Duarte would match Kuzma's salary and the Wiz have less worries about taking on bad salary than most teams. The two team still have to work out the draft capital that the Wiz are getting.
Won't worry about what draft capital that will be, that's been argued a lot.
