Because those are Deuces minutes right now. I doubt Thibs will go to a 10 man rotation or cut Josh Harts minutes.

DSJ isn’t even that good at running an offense and is a really bad shooter so don’t see the fit.

Letting Deuce get those minutes and keep developing is the better play

More perspective , guys on Knicks who have the exact same agent with Paul George (Aaron Mintz):

Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Isiah Hartenstein, Julius Randle.

And of course OG Anunoby has an agent from the same agency who happens to be the son of Leon Rose.

Aside from injuries, PG and OG would be the big, physical wings that would help defense Tatum/Brown.

Also solves 2nd creative scorer.

Also, not happening, but fun to think about.

Would be an amazing defensive lineup with versatility.

Don’t count out PG13 or Butler…

Mitch, Bogs, McBride and scraps before the new salaries kick in can get it done. It’s doubtful either of those teams will find great offers for either of those guys at their ages.

We are one of the few teams that could return young assets. Mitch can go to a 3rd team for other assets.

I would not be opposed to adding PG13 or Butler to our Nova + OG, Randle, IHart core. It could be special…

Health as usual will be the big wild card. But if most of them are healthy that's a beastly line-up.

dsj or any other force of nature wasn't stopping tj

i just don't see much playing time for dsj with our current roster and thibs as our coach. unless a bigger move happens or the inevitable injuries stack up. but i doubt he wants to sign here waiting for someone to get injured. so unless we make a move i don't see him as a legit option.
