Suns Open To Moving No. 22 Pick In Draft

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Jun 22, 2024 12:50 pm

The Phoenix Suns are open to moving the 22nd pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Phoenix could move back in the draft to pick up additional draft capital, or to add a player via trade.

The Suns also haven't ruled out moving up in the draft if there is a player that they'd like to acquire. This pick is the only one Phoenix owns without conditions attached through 2030. The Suns have either traded or agreed to swap conditions on all of their other first- and second-round picks for next seven drafts.

So, the Suns are willing to move up, move down, or even keep their pick? Yep, sounds like breaking news to me.

Don't they need to sell the pick to cut salary?

Something like packaging Little and the $21M he is owed with #22 for some smaller salary. What is that $21M going to really cost them as a tax team?

#22 for #29 and #31? The Raptors just traded #29 for Agbaji (who was the #14 pick in 2022). He is only making $4.3M next season.
