Really hoping we can get one of the 2 centers, Clayton or hartenstein
I cant really see either of them being out of the price range for us

Also would be cool with either of PG or Klay if they are willing to sign short deals, like a 1+1 or 2 year deals, but I cant see either of them doing and really hope we aren't offering these older guys 3+ years and 30+ mil, that would kill this rebuild

Theres a dark horse C that im on my eye on. Henis supposedly in the trade market. But his GM is kinda shady.

KESSLER.

Wait, really? Whys that?

Not sure I trust weltman To deal with ainge, but that would be a nice get

Theres actually a GB thread about it.

Probably cuz Kessler cant create for himself. Great rebounder great shotblocker but on offense, he is like Goga. Which is what we need in our starting C. Someone to meet at the ril the guys that get through Paolo and Franz

Well thr Jazz have a chance on Eddey so they can replace him easily.

Suggs is a keeper but cannot shoot nor has handles, but his defense deserves a new contract and he is a keeper. It was painful to watch him shoot against Cleveland in the playoffs. Do you disagree with me, sir?

First. Suggs isn’t a point guard.

Second, yeah I disagree. He shoots. Better than any other guard on the roster at regular volume.

I don’t disagree with the handle.

Suggs isn't stamped as a "shooter" just yet, he'll have to prove it beyond this last year, but he's absolutely a solid shooter and one of the best on the team lol. Maybe it doesn't say much about our team but his form is even pretty solid.

Okeke and one of G-Harris or Fultz is certain to be gone. The other guard is also probably gone.
Ingles is probably gone.
Bitadze is more probable than not to leave.

Isaac and M-Wagner are certain to be retained, unless part of a trade. Indeed, only Banchero and F-Wagner are 100% untradeable (even Suggs "could" be traded).

Howard's redshirt year is over and he will be on the 14-man roster. The new rookie (and at most there will only be one) might not make the roster.

Sum this all up, the Magic start the FA market with something like 10 players. Add a rookie, and this means that it is 100% the Magic will add about 4 free agents. Up to 8 new Magicians is possible when we consider trades. There will be substantial change.

So: when I read "Chances the Magic whiff on Free Agency", I guess what is really being asked is, will the Magic fail to gain an alpha? I think that is probable at this point. Look to players like Trent as the sorts of targets for the ~4 FAs.
Next year's team will be better, but won't be a contender.
