2016:
Siakam (27), Murray (29), Zubac (32), Brogdon (36)
2017:
Kuzma (27), White (29), Hart (30),
2018:
R Williams (27), Brunson (33), Robinson (36)
2019:
Poole (28), K Johnson (29), K Porter(30), Claxton (31),
2020:
Pritchard (26), McDaniels (28), Bane (30), Tillman(35)
2021:
Thomas (27), Sharpe (29), Aldama (30), H Jones (35)
2022:
Jovic (27), Watson (30), Nembhard(310, J Williams (34)

Seems like every year about 3-4 guys get drafted in this range and become rotation level guys eventually, hopefully the c's find one this year.

Comes down to scouting. If Stevens keeps 30 I'd love to see the scouting room hit an extra base hit with it.

I wonder why too. I do think he can be some version of Sabonis of the Kings with a better three point shot.

Does Arvydas have another son because I can't see that happening? Sabonis is not a good defender but he makes it up on by being a dog on the glass.

Sabonis is better on the glass. Both aren't good defenders although Flip might end up better once he picks up more nuances of the game.

No Dean on Draft this year.

Wonder if he got his dream fulfilled and a team hired him.

I had my Oso moments for sure. The passing & D are nice.
I've switched to Mogbo now, though. Neither can shoot, Mogbo seems more physical and hyperactive.

I don't get it.

We should change the name, to "The Wall of Fame".

Not many Members remember why they gave it the current name.

I like the name. Little fun doesn’t hurt. I’m up there and it’s a shame because, how? I don’t remember posting that much about the draft!

Recount! Fake newsh!!

Yeah, I'm with Shak. We can explain to the newbs what it means. It's just fun to be ashamed of how much I've posted in a draft thread.

I think Oso’s bball IQ is great. The kid is going to do big things because of being bball smart alone! Sleeper. I’m on this one!!

I’d go with guys who can step in as rookies potentially (hopefully not needed) with high floors even though that means a modest ceiling where we’re drafting. We need guys who can be 6 thru 9 in the future at cheap cost. I have no names for you lol but Grant Williams level players (for all of his warts even) would be great value in a weak draft picking 30 and lower.

djFan71 wrote:Not a big Djurisic guy since he can't shoot or defend yet (tho he could always develop)

I watched Djurisic pretty closely this season. He struggled shooting early in the season but then seemed to adjust his shooting pocket, raised the shooting pocket slightly so he wasn't shooting it from right in front of his face anymore - got his release more fluid too - and less robotic looking.

If we look at his last 20 games (last 15 games during 23-24 season for Mega + 2 scrimmages at draft combine + 3 scrimmages at EuroCamp), he shot 38.8% from 3 on 3.6 attempts per game. He was also right around 80% FT over the 2nd half of the season.

We have to also factor in that he was one of the primary ball handlers/shot creators for Mega..once Nikola Topic left the team in December, Djurisic was pretty much *the* go to guy on that team so defenses loaded up to try and stop him, he had the other team's best perimeter defender on him (often times was a 28 year old former NBA player so a much harder matchup than who the college guys were going against..and many of his 3's were off the dribble and well contested, rather than open catch and shoot looks that someone like Jalen Bridges or Pelle Larsson got to take.

I think Djurisic is decent on defense as well. He usually gets after it pretty good on that end..has some strength, can force some turnovers. Had some issues on D but I'm not too concerned, considering he was only 20, playing in a top pro league vs grown men and also had to carry the team offensively after Topic left the team that it made it hard sometimes for him to have enough energy on the defensive end..

Plus there were many games where he was playing like 33+ mins per game..often times he looked completely gas'd out there from the heavy mins and being asked to do so much on both ends of the floor as a 20 yr old kid in a pro league. He played 38 mins in a game vs Red Star (a EuroLeague team) and in another game vs Red Start played 37 mins.

I knew the Topic part. That's encouraging on the shooting, but he'll obviously need to prove it. I think he really needs to be a good shooter, since he'll never be a stopper on the defensive end, and won't be as much on ball in the NBA. It'll be back to like playing with Topic. His skills for secondary creation would be great. But, definitely on a team like the Cs he doesn't have much of a path to being on-ball a ton for the forseeable future so he needs to be able to space.

For a coach who likes to play 5 out, Quinten Post is a big who is at least a little interesting. He can really stroke it from deep. Would not mind him on a two way.

Juan Nunez seems slept on.

Statistically, he looks like a stud. In scouting reports, he sounds like a stud - they just note that he lacks ideal athleticism/explosiveness (but has above average lateral quickness), and they question his shooting ability (although he has shot the three respectably, for his age).

Foreign players are foreign to me. No stats based on 100 possessions. No advanced stats - DRB%, Steal%, etc. Very hard for me to evaluate.
