Big hands too. Good perimeter skills. He was a guard/forward in HS, who said he patterned his game after guys like Luka and LeBron. Has the smarts, he played at Stanford his first two years.

He can fit right into Anderson role as connector for second unit. He probably needs an extensive training with Gobert, Towns and Reid to get used to NBA size and talent. IMO he can be a potential steal at #37

I posted the quote from Bronny's agent that we were interested in bringing him in for a workout. You don't bring people in for a workout if you want to draft and immediately trade them. The response from a lot of people here of "oh we're drafting Bronny? What are we trading him to the Lakers for then?" is pure copium.

In your opinion.

If you’re going to draft a player to trade them, you need to bring them in for a workout to sell it that you intend to keep him so that you can maximize the return. The game within the game. If you draft a player to trade them and teams know you have no intention of keeping him, then that deflates his value. You can’t show your hand.

...right. So you think, after hearing that we're 1 of 5 teams with interest in working him out, that it's more likely we're not actually interested in him as a prospect but that instead this is some kind of 4D chess manoeuvre to eek more value from a player widely mocked as a late 2nd rounder?

If we draft him, no, I don’t think it’s to keep him.

The pining here by a few of you for Bronny leaves me speechless. Have you ever watched a single minute of his play at USC? My goodness.

He's not even a Top 100 college prospect IMO based on performance or projections and that doesn't even factor in European prospects.

People get accused of "hating" on him because of his Dad but the truth is, the guy simply can't play.

I apologize for the rant but the nepotism being used to validate his potential is out of control.

Are people actually pining for Bronny? Or is there a hope of some alternative Lebron related outcome?
I kind of think it’s the second.

From what has been posted here, and elsewhere, it's a combination of both.

Another really interesting physical comparison I found.

OG Anunoby 6-6.25 / 7-2.25 / 232.4
Harrison Ingram 6-5.25 / 7-0.25 / 233.6

Nikola Djurisic anyone? I feel like he’s one of the second rounders that will stick in the league. I am totally on Board with Djurisic Park with pick 37. Connelly drafting another Nikola in the second round just feels right

Ok after thinking about it and seeing videos, if wolves stay as is.
27. Rob Dillingham if he truly falls like it’s been speculated that he might. his defense is atrocious but he has scoring ability that could develop into a 6th man type. If not then Tyler Smith who just shows great fluidity for his height.
37. Tyler Smith or Nikola Djurisic.

But my preference is the wolves trade down with Portland and get picks 34 and 40 and end up with Tyler Smith, Nikola Djurisic, and Adem Bona.

I have no idea if AJ Johnson is going to be good. What I know is that he is projected to be a Jamal Crawford type of player. That would work extremely well as a scorer off the bench / creator to give others a break. I have gone back and forth because he is so young and it is such a risk. However, I think I would love it if they took him. Apparently he looked extremely good at the combine after being underwhelming in Australia. It would be great to come out of this with at least one scoring option, ideally at the point guard position. And one big rebounding forward/center.

Secretly, if they run it back, I want them to draft AJ Johnson at 27 and Ulrich Chomche at 37. Might as well stash and develop two guys similar to what they did with Miller and Clark last year. Groom Johnson to take over a point guard and Chomche to back Gobert

I’ve been hearing nothing but bad things about Chomche, apparently he has low basketball iq and always gets the ball stripped and makes bonehead turnovers and gets lost on defense so I really prefer someone with higher basketball iq like Bona for a bigman.

I think going into the week-of, Baylor Scheierman is still my favorite prospect. There's just a lot for me to like there.

I think his overall game gets lost in the game because of his shooting ability, but he is a very good rebounder (in his last four years, averaged 8.5 rebounds per game). And while his A/TO numbers aren't elite, he's a pretty good passer, especially for his size. He played the role of a jumbo point guard at South Dakota State before transferring to Creighton.

I'd be very happy if we got him. Elite shooter, who can come off screens, create a little bit and isn't a lost cause on defense makes it seem like he's likely at least a rotation level player.

He might have the most perfect comp I’ve ever seen and that comp is Jingles.

I’m not incredibly high on the guy but if you can add a Jingles at 27, then you Jingle all the way.

If that's what the reports are I would pass on him too. I read a few the other way that were actually talking about more of the positives. The reason I even brought his name up is I believe he is the youngest player in the draft, already 7 ft tall and likely to grow a little bit more, and athletic good rebounder. Looked like he blocked shots well also. But there is obviously more to defense than that.

How high am I on him as a prospect? I think Jingles is closer to his floor than his ceiling! I'm all in!

Seriously, the perfect skill set for our roster. I could see him take Kyle's role of backup PG to run the show seamlessly...
