Suns/Thunder
Little/#22
for
Kenrich/25 ATL 2nd(top 40 protected)/29 BOS 2nd
Suns get a rugged playable forward and pick up a couple 2nds as they have no picks to speak of at all. Little makes just more than Williams.
Thunder no longer really have a role for Williams so pick up another asset for him. I know they probably don't want another pick in this draft, but I trust Presti to wash it as needed.

Re: Suns/Thunder
I think this would need to be part of a broader deal.. there are a few teams potentially look to trade up in phx range. I think deals like 22 for 25 + 38 or 22 for 29 + 31 are very possibly on the table depending on who falls to 22. But more importantly, I think phx prefers not to swap little for another salary like Kenrich given their cap sheet.
I think phx best off trying to use 22 to get 2-3 cheap rookies that the late 25-40 range that are ready to contribute now to help fill out the roster. Given phx limited draft assets, probably best to hold onto little for another year…. He actually looked pretty good in non garbage time minutes, just couldn’t stay healthy.

Better for OKC to hold off - Kenrich is a very moveable piece as part of a bigger trade and/or in the unlikely event that they have to open up more cap space. And the extra year on Little's contract, which hits at the point when OKC will have financial challenges with big contracts for Holmgren and Jalen Williams, is unappealing.

The reason Kenrich’s minutes went down were do mostly to back issues. We’ll see how his health is next season. He’ll miss Giddey finding him for easy baskets.

Re: Suns/Thunder
I think Phoenix needs to get guaranteed 2nds back if they’re to deal off a first. Granted, I do think the Little for Kenrich swap is solid for them, but they can’t risk dealing a first for possibly one 2nd, as the other is decently protected.

Re: Suns/Thunder
Meh.
If we trade with OKC, sending them Nurk into their capspace for whatever picks they feel like makes more sense IMO. Thunder need another big, especially a tough and big one. Suns obviously need money off their books and as you said picks

I don’t think Phoenix has enough picks to incentivize OKC to take Nurk into cap space.

Well fortunately, the Thunder are giving picks to Phoenix. Like it says in the post....
Nurk just had a career best year. Fills all the holes they have in their 5 spot.

No thank you.
If Nurk filled all the holes for any team, he wouldn’t be shopped so regularly.

I don’t think he’s being “shopped”. He had a really good year, it’s mostly the fact that he’s the only realistically moveable contract on phx. I expect and hope he’s back in phx next year.

Also, in what universe does "shopped so regularly" translated to he's been traded 2x....?

I think he'll be gone when the season starts, we'll see if I'm right. OKC makes the most sense-to me.

Its so nice having trade flexibility. Brad Beal totally worth it, look at how we finished this year.
