Re: Free Agency
Anyone willing to take a chance on Lonzo Ball if the Bulls buy him out?

I mean the PG market is awful this offseason but price depending possibly. Drose rehabbed well here.

Re: Free Agency
I've kind of stayed away because it seems Troy Weaver has always wanted him and that's never a good thing but what about Patrick Williams?
RFA so it won't be easy but just seeing what everyone else thinks.

Its the type of move that I would like.
Sign Zo to a 2 year deal (team option 2nd year) and if all goes well with his rehab he can come back and perhaps find his former self, thus increasing his value, and maybe you can flip him for a pick after picking up his option next summer.
Then again, I'm not sure how much longer he is expected to be out. If Chicago buys him out, that probably means he still needs a lot of time.
About Ball in general though, if he's close to right, he's not the worst fit alongside Cade. He might actually be a pretty good one.

You definitely sign him not expecting 20 mpg when he's ready to play.

Re: Free Agency
So....Tyus Jones looking for $15mil/yr....we can give him a little more and a starting spot....he won title with Duke as freshman. Nice little connection to TL
Free us up to deal Ivey.
Would luv to get him or Dejounte to pair alongside Cade. Signing him though gives us chance to use Ivey to fill a forward spot easier since the free agents aren't appealing there.

Re: Free Agency
I think he'd be a solid signing for us at a position of need. Seems very possible given the Langdon connection.

He hasn’t been the same since. But if he could pull out of this and become 22 Playoff Wiggins, he’d be a deal for sure.

Re: Free Agency
The idea of adding Naji as a rotation piece makes me nervous. He's a one-year-wonder as a shooter and that was basically only from the corners too. Until the Pistons can actually run an offense that gets guys looks in the corners I have my doubts about players from other places coming here and replicating that kind of success. Especially with a guy like Naji and his lack on consistent performance.
The defense is nice though.

Legit concern, but we're going to have to take some risks - nothing is a sure thing. Maybe Naji is about to take off and we're getting in on the right time? Or maybe he's plateaued just slightly higher than he was and we'd overpay. Hopefully Langdon knows the difference.

This is my biggest fear! TJ bringing in cats from NO or ex Dookies! Actually the only thing I would want from NO is their HC, Willie Green

He does so much more than shooting 3's tho, even if his shot goes down a little below league average (if it falls it's not going to go below that), he hustle/intangibles, he can create for himself and for others, rebounds well, is a good passer, good bbiq and good defender.

Lonzo lacks an incentive to take a buyout. It would mean him walking away with less money, and this may be the final time he gets paid in the NBA at all.

Scanning the rumors and thinking ahead, the NBA offseason once again will be highly entertaining, but you do get the sense that it will likely not involve much with Detroit. Moves yes, draft yes, significant compared to other teams?
Hard to imagine that.
