CWhite on the move
I think Chi should consider it. I really like him in Chicago, but we are going NOWHERE, and we should try and pump up Lavine's value and deal him in Jan/Feb. Also, we can then tank for 2025 and start over with a top 5 pick, young pieces and tons of cap space
CWhite to SA for the #8 and our pick back
CWhite to Orl for #18, Howard and the Den pick
Both teams would LOVE Coby in their lineup, and the Bulls could roll with
Ayo
Lavine
Giddy
PWill
Vuc (or resign Drummond and try to move Vuc too)
Bench of Carter, Terry, Ball (?), Phillips, #11 and the package from Coby.
Let Lavine average big numbers and deal him before the deadline, and hope for lotto luck next year.

Re: CWhite on the move
I would definitely consider this for the Spurs. The only thing that worries me is that Coby White's contract is too low to be extended, so he'll be a free agent in 2 years. Other than that, he's a young player that fits a position of need, whose skill set also fits.

Re: CWhite on the move
If SA does that, Chicago should. With Giddey/Patrick/8th/11th - Chicago should be out of the tank mentality after 2 drafts and will likely convey a late lottery pick to SAS.
I don’t know enough about Howard, but I wouldn’t do the Orlando trade and don’t think it’s very comparable to the SAS offer.

I’m a fan of Coby and would welcome him in Orlando, but he’s not worth (3) FRP’s imo.
Those could be used for a bigger impact player.

ORL can't say YES fast enough...perfect fit and perfect coverage for his weaknesses.

I concur. These assets have FRP-level value only on paper.

Who could you get for those picks?
FWIW, those 3 assets seem lower than what Indiana paid for an expiring Siakam.

Coby's defense is not actually a weakness anymore. He's not Suggs, but he competes and moves his feet-not a liability
I think the Den pick has sneaky potential. The West is SO deep that it could be a good pick (probably a #25 selection, but has upside since it's only top 5 protected).

Re: CWhite on the move
Both the Spurs and Magic should do this, and the Spurs should get to yes first as that Bulls pick is looking like it won't convey in 2025.

No, but Coby White is 24 and just put up a 19/4/5 season on Lg Avg efficiency.

well, it isnt really 3 picks, its 2 picks and a player that spent almost all year in the G League. and one of those picks will be mid-late 20's.

Such a weird statement that proves nothing.
G league stats - 19/4/3 shooting 38%
Those stats mean as much as your comment.

Would take some re-arranging but if the Spurs could get cap space next summer they'd be able to re-negotiate and extend him.

I’ve had a dream of a Coby White for Naz Reid swap for a good while.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

If your first round pick sends his rookie year in the G League a trade partner isn't going to value him as a first round pick anymore.

then might as well keep Jett and send a second round pick in that case
