One thing that needs to be addressed is stretch 5.

We talking about maximizing Brunson.

Not even close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dunns one the best defensive prospects this league has ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watched him quite a bit @ Uva... he's not a better defender than Trey was. And again, is not close to the shooter/scorer Trey was @ Uva. Dunn gambles more and is a great help defender but hus handle needs work as well. This is a weak draft, so I can see him climbing. The way Thibs loves rookies, do you really think he'd make an immediate impact?

Absolutely for 10mins a game Thibs will play him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And with the development staff we have in place I have no doubt Dunn would develop into an elite player overall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And speaking of Murphy he was the Knicks guy that draft also and got picked a spot or two ahead of where we were and we didn’t move up to get him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We cannot let the same thing happen here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was he the guy that had Grant Hill playing at old age and Suns not getting injured? I remember wanting him badly. If this is him.

Virginia F Ryan Dunn has excelled in workouts and may have played his way out of the Knicks' range, according to multiple reports

Dunn is "gaining steam" to get drafted in the early 20s after "a slew of outstanding workouts" this month, per ESPN's @DraftExpress
.

ESPN has Dunn going at No. 22 to Phoenix in today's mock draft.

Several teams have said Dunn "exceeded expectations with his shooting while also doing some absolutely mesmerizing things defensively in guarding point guards through centers in group settings."

HoopsHype's @MikeAScotto
reported today that "some in New York believe Dunn will be off the board" when the Knicks are on the clock at No. 24.

feels like the type of draft you could easily trade up for a guy if you really wanted em badly enough

Knicks never get their guy in the draft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Either they do it on purpose bc money comes back to CAA regardless or this is just some bs always get jumped for our guy.

Boss move by Leon. NYK should have the best coaches, development staff, scouting staff, and medical staff. Every little bit helps.

It's tough to find a stretch 5 who can shoot and defend. We only have KP, Myles Turner, washed Brooke Lopez, washed Al Horford, rookie Wemby and rookie Chet. Maybe we can add to that list Mobley, Sarr and Jokic (who does not shoot that well).

And maybe it's not necessary a stretch 5 to win.

The Wolves got better when they gave up Towns as a stretch 5. And people think OKC and SAS need a traditional big to defend.

GSW and Lakers used a traditional center and they were champions. Dallas hit the finals.

Besides, IHart is a good passer and can work outside the rim.

Do the PG13 trade with Mitch, McBride, Bogs and picks.

Contend for 2-3 years with this squad. Maybe win one.

It’s worth a shot because it wouldn’t take too many picks so we could keep pivoting later.
Im 100% with it

Brunson
PG13
OG
Randle
Ihart

With Donte/Hart as 6th/7th man. We need a big and we are def contending. That starting 5 can do damage !!

You guys haven't been paying attention.

The salaries of just these 5 players alone take us up to the 2nd apron. That doesn't even include the additional players we'd have to pay to complete the roster.

Sorry, but this team is just not financially possible under the new rules.

When we got Bojan I was exited this team never had a sniper known for it long term. Sad to see him go down, I don’t think we will keep him around so we better improve shooting in front court. Just imagine Randle/Brunson PnR without a guy clogging the paint.

I know wishful thinking. You saw what Turner did to us.

Golden State offers him the opportunity to stay in the Cali area. If that's what he wants. Which might be the overriding factor here.

Very interested to see how this plays out.

I would guess that it was probably Hill's surgeons that did it with post surgery help from the trainers who followed through on the doctor's recommendations for PT.
