That was a clutch loss. We need a lot of those. Keep the humiliation coming and even Rogers won't be able to ignore it any longer.

It's time for Springer to go down with a phantom injury and work some things out in the minors. The only problem is, do we have a single hitting coach in the entire system that is good at their job and could possibly help Springer out?

Last losing streak worse than this was 2009 (9). If the Jays keep playing Springer and Kiermaier for no reason at all with much better alternatives on the roster, I'm sure they can pull it off

KEEP playing KK, Springer, turner! Clutch loss! Our bullpen sucks as well, Pearson can't handle pressure, POP just popping up HRs, trade them all in 4 weeks whenever the deadline is.

the bullpen can't blow a 4 run lead that late in the game. it wasnt springer or KK today.

Springer went 0 for 4 and left 5 runners on base to drop his OPS to .559. Kiermaier dropped a ball that Varsho would have easily jogged under that cost them two runs.

The fact that the bullpen sucks doesn't change the fact that their sucking contributes to losses too.

In the past month, every time I stream an opposing pitcher on my fantasy team (Bello tonight) the Jays find a way to score 4 or more runs. Its been at least 3 or 4 times in a row.

The strategy worked for the first 40-50 games - not anymore.

Springer will be back in the leadoff spot tomorrow after that HR, so that will be rectified soon enough

But fyi Bichette has a .691 ops over the last calendar year. He’s a bad hitter.

Traditionally lead off hitters get on base and have good at bats. Not like Bichette this year. Horwitz is profiling more as a leadoff hitter if he can keep up his approach.
