Nets receive: KAT

Timberwolves receive: Ben Simmons (ball handling, defense, expiring deal), Cam Thomas (can create his own shot, sixth man role).

Starters: Simmons, Ant, McDaniels, Naz, Rudy

This trade also lowers the Timberwolves payroll for the 2025 season.

Where are the haul of first round picks?

That's exceptionally awful for the Wolves.

Still bad. We don't want Simmons. We aren't trading Towns either.

Simmons is expiring this year, just for salary match or hold the slot for trades. Final offer: Cam, Bridges, Simmons for Towns, #1, #2, and salary match.

Why are wolves sending picks lol Kat is an all star in the west and is signed for 5 years, Bridges cant even make all star in the east as a number one option.

Wendell Moore and Josh Minott for Bones Hyland

The Clippers are at a point where they need bodies and they need tax savings. I don't think they see Bones as part of the future. So take an opportunity to either take a flier on a couple of new young guys, or waive Minott's unguaranteed deal before the 30th and save $1.6 million in cap and who knows how much in tax savings.

For us, it's a flier on someone who Tim knows at a position of need.

I don't want Bones Hyland in any way shape or form and that is from someone who wants Moore off the roster. I see it as exchanging one piece of garbage for another. I took a flyer on Hyland once in Fantasy and he missed virtually every shot and turned ball over like four or five times in a short period. He was deer in the headlights bad. And he's not a good defender. There are many free agents that I like over both Hyland and Moore. Stay away!

Absolutely! But I don't think Nets want to trade Bridges, even for Towns. Nets really cleaned up when they traded KD for three firsts, maybe some swaps, plus Bridges and Cam Johnson. Made Gobert trade look a lot better.

How much trust do we have in Jaden developing? Do we trust the coaching staff to develop him?

Jaden seems to be a player that needs plays called for him to keep him involved consistently until it clicks.

Are there any players that would be considered in a swap for him?

Note, I’d prefer to keep him and watch him grow here but I don’t think he’s untouchable anymore.

Ya I don’t understand being processed with Hyland. If Connelly didn’t mention him in the past, no one would know he existed.

Move towns for whatever assets you can… I trust Connelly can get KAT’s max value

Yeah, Simmons' expiring deal gives the Wolves a chance to go after a big free agent in 2025 if it doesn't work out. Gobert is probably going to opt out and take less money for a longer deal.

I think you're going to have to trade McDaniels with KAT if you want Bridges for the salaries to match, and Nets will play hard ball.

Nets get KAT and Mcdaniels.

Wolves get Bridges, Simmons, Cam Thomas and and a couple of picks.

What part of it is crazy? You don't see the value in expiring deals and bringing in guys like Bridges and Thomas who can score without the ball in their hands? The Timberwolves aren't going to go deep in the luxury tax either.

MIN is going to pay luxury tax because this team is in win-now mode. MIN is not going to trade an All-Star and All-NBA defensive team player for Bridges and Simmons.

Would Atlanta give up the 1 in this draft for Kat?

I swear I'm not trying to be a homer, but would Kat and the 27 be enough to get the #1 and pieces from the Hawks?

Why would you want the number one pick in this draft? The top 5 are so unsexy and would barely be top 10 picks in other drafts.
