Let's say Orl sees a good target who's there at 11 but thinks they won't be at 18
Den pick/#18 for #11 (maybe Orl throws in #47)
Bulls pick Missi or Ware (need size/athleticism at the 5) and save some $, plus get the Den pick next summer, which could be sneaky good with the West's depth. Probably a pick in the 20's but it only has top 5 protection and Den could slip.
Orl gets the guy they're targeting for sure

Re: Orl-Chi
If I'm the Bulls a listen today but don't want to get a 2025 DEN pick (is Jokic still playing, it's a very late pick) even if the Bulls likely have nothing in 2025. I'm imagining ORL isn't the only team either later in the round or outside the draft that sees a guy they really like so the Bulls keep track of what's offered and once they're on the clock if the guy the Bulls really like is there they take him but if nobody is perfect you call back in those 15 minutes and see what the final bids are.

Re: Orl-Chi
Topic is one of the guys I had in mind-Bulls just added Giddey with CWhite and Ayo, so no real need for him but he's a good prospect, and Orl can wait a bit for him

Re: Orl-Chi
I like Topic as a prospect, but a ball-dominant guard with a questionable shot doesn't seem like a great fit for Orlando.

Re: Orl-Chi
Personally, I'd do this and take Carrington.
One point of discussion, can we make it the worst pick of Orl/Den? I may be crazy but if someone (Orl maybe) signs away KCP, that denver pick could be better than expected, and before Orlando Orlando's pick. Not likely, but there's a chance.
Otherwise, I think value is fair if the Magic are super high on a prospect they don't want OKC to take.
