How excited are u for draft night?

I'm more nervous than excited. Most of the players in that 15-25 range are interesting but the one i'm not fond of has a major shot at being the choice they go with.

I'm kinda amped, we get to add two players to our squad. We could use an influx of youth, skill, & talent. Hopefully we get a couple of rotation level players.

I know nothing is going to happen (when it comes to Raptors related moves) but always intrigued with the incoming talent and how they will fit the team short and long term.

Not very. We don't have a lotto pick. It's impossible to predict who we'll select at 20 and it's pretty unlikely they will be a difference maker. But if anyone can find an impact player in the late draft, it's Masai.

hard not to be excited cosnsidering this is the kick-off to an extremely important off-season for this franchise and who/what they draft will tell us a lot about how they plan on fleshing this roster out alongside scottie/iq/rj/gradey. i'm not expectng home runs but a double and/or a few singles is still something considering how hard its been to build meaningful depth for the last 3/4 seasons.

sorta crazy looking back that there once was a time when this was like our super bowl and we'd have those insane threads for a multitude of prospects.

also a decade since bruno was picked. i think he might be ready now.

I’m actually quite pumped about Day 2 of the draft since that time between rounds will give the team some time to think about who they’ll pick out of everyone who dropped out of the 1st.
I also feel like a lot of trades could happen between rounds 1 and 2.

I'm always excited about the draft, but it's going to be hard not to feel underwhelmed. Even when the prospects are weaker, you start to like the idea of 5-10 of them. Even if one of those guys gets picked (instead of a Bruno), you still only got one, where before the draft it was kind of like you had all of them.

It's kind of like the OG and Siakam trades, where before they were made, I had all of these ideas of different combinations of players and picks we could get. Once the deals went down, whether they were good or bad, you're still kind of like... so that's it, huh.

I'm excited, but fully expect to be disappointed. After all, I have very strong opinions based on reading some mock drafts and watching multiple highlight videos on YouTube.

This is roughly where I'm at. I try not to make any favourites since they probably go before us or.. we skip over them as usual lol.

Always been a massive fan of the draft however, overall, this is probably the least exciting draft I can remember since I started following in 2010. The projected top end talent just feels very meh to me.

As a Raptors fan though, I'm very excited for who we select. It feels like after 10 there is so much variability of who is projected to go where. I imagine every team's board looks pretty different in the later half of the 1st round so I have a feeling we're going to be able to scoop someone we really like at 19.

I think you are going to have just about every team in the draft come out and say, "we got our guy".

6 for me… it’s usually a 10 for me, but I am so irked by the Spurs having our pick.
It was such a dumb trade at the time! Knowing the final compensation just makes it worse.
I still cannot believe we only had top-6 protection for Poetl, no matter how shallow the talent pool might be. Ruined my enthusiasm for this draft.

Not excited, I think the draft will probably be boring and predictable.

I'd say a 7.

As a fan of the league itself I find the draft a bit more INTERESTING (not so much exciting) than previous years because once you get outside of the top 3, this draft has the potential to be one of the most unpredictable ever lol even the executives are saying it's incredibly hard for them to gauge this year what team's draft boards may look like. I think there's gonna be a TON of surprises tomorrow with who gets picked where & I'm expecting more trades than usual. It could be mayhem tomorrow lol so in that aspect I'm really looking forward to it.

As for our franchise, it's kinda mid lol it's more cautiously optimistic. Obviously it's not the same excitement as it was being in the top 4 because you feel like you have the chance to draft a player that alters the course of your franchise. Whereas this draft, I'm just hopeful that we end up with some really solid players that hopefully have the upside be a notch above that as OG and Pascal were but I'm not banking on it...now if we can find a way to turn Bruce Brown (or less likely Yak) into a higher pick then I'll be pretty fired up. But for picks 19 & 31, it's just a feeling of hopefully we have some ok luck.

Ecstatic to even have a pick in a year we were very doubtful to have one. The hope at 19 is going for BPA while still getting a complimentary piece for BBQD, this should be the goal.

What sucks is that the Raps make no moves
.. they just sit there at their pick.. get a guy..and then report that we had a dozen trade scenarios but nothing jumped out.. then they close shop and then set up again this year.. no trade is incoming.. Bronny will not be picked by the Raptors..
