One of their worst games of the season by far. Two of those because they forgot to learn how to catch. Thornton literally threw it at a teammate's back right now. Absolutely lazy ball.

Yep they came in here on a high and got humbled

This is good for the league.

Minnesota has gone under the radar all year and they're a top 3 team

Been looking forward to finally catching the Lynx. They didn’t disappoint. Impressive road win.

This did resemble an NBA game more than a lot of games I’ve caught. Both teams taking 29 3s out of their 69 overall FGA (crazy both teams had exact same numbers there), and hitting a very high %. Probably the near future of the league (sigh).

NY clearly didn’t play their best game. Not sure why they couldn’t/wouldn’t get Jonquel involved, nor did they continue to feed Stewie when she erased that double digit deficit by herself. Understand this is BLH and Vandersloot’s first games back in awhile so while a disappointing loss, I don’t think this NY has any reason to be particularly worried.

A little rough probably with some jitters early, but overall a fun game. Possible finals preview. Barring injury I think it would be pretty surprising if these two didn’t finish at least as conference finalists.

good time to put a few lynx on those all-star ballots

doesn't make a lot of headlines but they play good defense and share the ball

Well ladies and gents, I had my “Welcome to the W” moment tonight.

Multitasking between eating (some really ****ing spicy to the point of distraction food, and trying not to spill the sauce) and watching the game, I kept hearing “Xander (Zander) Lasini” and upon looking up -

“She’s got a beautiful shot, who is she?”

Google search comes up empty.

Pulls up Lynx roster on WNBA site. Still no Zander/Xander.

Huh. Weird.

Started to actually pay attention to reading last names.

OOOHHH!!! Zandalasini!!!!

I meant to comment on this! GO Swin!!

More of this please.

Also, after seeing JJ Reddick be gifted the Lakers job, I really think that there is zero excuse as to why a female coach cannot be hired to run an NBA team.

It's good to see change in action.

I'm not concerned tbh, I am frustrated at how unprepared the Liberty were on both ends for Minnesota. Sabrina was a turnover machine, Jonquel was a non factor.

Inexcusable performance. I expect better and won't budge from that. We have had it too easy the last few nights, clearly.

Looking and not looking forward to tomorrow's Sky-Aces game. Pretty bad matchup for the sky since A'ja will likely cancel out Angel's production, and Plum & Chelsea > Allen & Marina. Gonna need Kamilla to cook and for the team to play great defense on everyone not A'ja.

the lynx help defense rotations are really something to behold. it looks like they've all been playing together for years but only 5 players from last year are back (and miller has been hurt most of the year)

They are very well coached. Clean crisp rotations on defense and on offense the ball didn't stick.

I told you I was nervous about that game and I was right lol :noway:

This will be a good experience for Angel and Kamilla going up against Wilson and Stokes, but yeah. If the Sky keep it within 10 I'll be shocked

Camp Day, every team does it. I was at the Sky's last week
"Coach, why don't you just relax? We're not good enough to beat the Lakers. We've had a great year, why don't you just relax and cool down?"
