So if I'm following correctly, the trade as currently constructed hard caps the Knicks which makes it essentially impossible to re-sign OG and Hartenstein. They have easy paths to adjusting the trade to avoid that though. So let's assume they get that done and have the flexibility to bring them back. You now have Brunson, Bridges, Randle, and Hartenstein locked into starting spots. I have to assume OG only returns if he's starting (and even then, it's kind of weird because he wanted the trade in order to take on a larger offensive role and would now be relegated to #4 at best in the pecking order). And then you have Hart, Donte, McBridge, and Robinson off the bench who all deserve a good amount of minutes. I know all those Villanova guys are friends but that's a crowded roster lol. Feels to me like another significant move is coming.
