The funniest part of that is they Bassically schemed to screw the wizards and still got the worst end of the trade lol .

We really did. I got banned from Suns board because they can't stand to hear the truth about it.

Beal is one of the biggest empty stats guys of all time. Zero dog in him, no leadership qualities to be found, won't ever do the little things, and thinks he's a superstar because he put up inflated scoring numbers on horrible teams. That trade was doomed for failure even after Beal tried to screw over a franchise that had been nothing but (utterly blindly) loyal.

I'd prefer next year's First but we probably won't be that lucky. Oddly, Kuzma may end up accelerating Fox's departure.

Wizards reserve guard Landry Shamet has also drawn exploratory trade interest from several teams, including the Clippers, Lakers, Mavericks, Jazz, Raptors, and Magic, league sources told HoopsHype.

Shamet, who averaged 7.1 points in only 15.8 minutes per game last season, has $22.75 million in non-guaranteed salary for the upcoming two seasons, as noted in our HoopsHype Wizards salaries page. Should Shamet remain with the Wizards beyond the draft, Washington is leaning towards guaranteeing his $11 million salary for the 2024-25 season, sources said.

Can anyone tell me how Shamet's contract works? As of now, it's not guaranteed until 6/29. If he's traded before the 29th, does his contract automatically get guaranteed?

Yes. He has to get guaranteed before he is traded. It's not possible to trade him and then have his new team reap the cap room by cutting him.

Got it. I saw a report that some contending teams, i.e. Lakers, Mavs, Nuggets, Magic are interested in him and am curious what a trade like that would even look like.

We didn't get "crumbs" for Beal at all.

We got a) a ton of draft capital & b) the best pg in the history of the game. The problem was that trading CP3 for Poole hasn't worked out well so far.

38 year old Chris Paul on an expiring contract.

Suns were still the losers of that deal, by far.

For whom we got Poole. & if he'd worked out no one would be complaining. Let's hope he still does work out.

The biggest win was getting rid of Beal with that contract and a NTC. Completely screwed the Suns.
