And whose dad has paid a publicist to go out soliciting articles on different websites and miscellaneous media outlets?

The Nets probably take on Lavine’s contract for more draft picks.

You know free agency hasn't started yet, right?

It’s very clearly either Bum or that troll that used to post here before and got suspended like 20 times over. Same pattern. Joins right before free agency. Comes right out of the gate with the “oh my god we suck everyone else is way better, the Sixers are screwed.”

Usually new posters start out pretty timidly on message boards, but this person has the same pattern in every aspect.

What in the world are you talking about? New posters are not allowed to have an opinion? What is this North Korea?

Just throwing this out there is if possible the Sixers can trade for both Kawhi and PG and eat that cap space with those salaries?

If they can get the Bulls to pay, they would be stupid not to now. They’re tanking.

If that’s all he gets after having all that cap space it’s been an epic failure by Morey. They, again, will be first round exit squad. He hast to find a way to get a legitimate superstar here.

He already supposedly has two legitimate superstars here. If they can't win with Ingram, another 4-5 good rotation players, and Nick Nurse then can we really blame Morey?

Maxey is a star not a superstar imo. Joel has NEVER been 100% for any playoffs lately. Not his fault but a fact.

Which players currently in free agency or the trade block would you consider to be better than Maxey? BTW you have to consider all factors (age, injury history, contract demands, etc.)

If we do get Ingram, hopefully he and Embiid can coordinate when they are going to be out for stretches of the season.

Last five seasons:

Embiid (275 games played)
Ingram (287 games played)

I'm not really into Ingram, but there no question he'd make the team better next year. Reminder, he'd be replacing TOBIAS HARRIS. I think the price on Ingram is going to be low. What teams actually want him? It might be as low as only 16.

I was just kinda rolling along but the Bridges trade is the first time I gotta ask... wtf we doing Daryl? (though I'm not sure I could pay that price)
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I'll take my stab at what I would do given current landscape after Knicks trade:

1. Check-in on PG13 - - pivot to Butler - - pivot to Ingram - - pivot to DDR

Expected outcome: We come away with one of these guys and eat up about 40 mil of space or more in the process. My guess is Ingram. If we can't land PG13 or DDR with our cap space then Morey needs to realize it won't matter in 2025 if we have cap space either; so you need to use our draft capital to go get guys for this year which lead me to the below options.

2. Move picks for Ayo Dosunmu - - he feels like a Rockets Harden 2.0 move - - good catch and shoot % from 3 (3 firsts and a swap?)

3. See what Jalen Johnson would cost.

4a. Call Pacers to see what they want for Myles Turner (their roster is about to get expensive real fast unless they let Siakam walk); maybe they do it for Reed + picks

4b. Move a pick for Brogdon - - talked to a friend who felt Turner provided better value for what we need and is healthier

5. See what Toppin would cost to sign.

6. Move pick(s) (preferably 2nds) for Olynyk - - older, but can space and rebound

7. Exception for Oubre

Lineup at this point:

Maxey/Lowry
Dosunmu/Council
Ingram/Oubre
Turner/Olynyk
Joel/Turner/Reed

I know folks are just "whelmed" by Ingram, but seriously, Tobias set a ridiculously low bar. We were right there with the Knicks with a banged up Joel and a zero from Tobias. Sure, PG13 fits best and outside of Lebron fills in a lot of holes; but, Ingram is still going to be an upgrade over Tobias. We really need to get a bigger body at the second guard position and some length/rebounding/athleticism out of the 4 while maintaining spacing. This isn't my ideal outcome, but if guys won't come here or teams try to hold us over a barrel (while mysteriously demanding less from Lakers/Celtics) you do the best you can.

The Knicks overpaid massively for another 3&D role player and this Villanova gimmick.

Houston trying to make moves. We need to go get Lauri now. 5 picks, just do it! You have tons of capspace to fill out the roster.

Forget Lauri. If the Suns go to blow it up; we should be on the doorstep ready to accept the leftover of Booker/Durant. Suns could get their picks back AND score the Clippers meltdown picks from us.

::EDIT:: More reason an Ingram trade helps out as he could be a deadline salary match or cap space. Still, I think we need to build for the now and not the "what if."

A good question would be, why did the Knicks go godfather offer for Bridges? If they were in on PG13, why not use those assets for him? Only 2 reasons seem likely. PG13 is either resigning with the Clippers or he's decided to opt out. Those seem like the only logical reasons for such a drastic move.

To me despite all the rumors, PG is and was always going to resign with the Clippers. I don't believe any of the noise otherwise.

But dont you think that the Nets 5 first round pick package becomes the standard ask from teams?

Don't forget that Bridges has 2 years left on a very good contract. His value is higher than someone like Ingram who only has 1 year left plus a higher salary.

Ingram very slim chance
Lauri no chance
Paul George overpay if lucky he's available 4 year max.
Butler is a fantasy and he don't even really like it here lol not happening.

Sorry guys we ain't lit like we think we are lol
