The viewership makes it the most-watched WNBA game since Memorial Day 2001. It was also the most-watched WNBA game in ESPN history.
The two sides met earlier this season, with the game averaging 2.25 million viewers on CBS.
The WNBA has already recorded three of its most-watched games since 2001 this season.
