If Mitchell doesn’t extend and Pat still can’t land him after the Knicks and Nets removing themselves from the race that’ll be 3 summers in a row now Pat can’t get it done. Is it likely Bam wants out? No. But if this keeps happening every summer while other teams aren’t scared and swing for the fences to give themselves the best chance to win he could start opening up to it
I don't understand why Heat fans want to start speaking this into some sort of reality when there are no signs of it being the case. Dude was drafted #14 and has been nothing but empowered by Miami ever since. Bam has flourished as a result.
3X All-Star, 5x All-defense, 2 finals appearances, 3 ECF appearances. All in his first 7 seasons in the NBA.
We're all frustrated that Miami hasn't been able to make a move to get over the hump and are stuck with some contracts that were clear mistakes. But, if Bam is being failed by Miami, then what Star player hasn't been utterly failed by their franchise?
