I put the estimate at a conservative 25% of Sixer fans are praying for Ben to come back.

I mean...we could use an athletic rebounding foward who can defend other teams best players

god I am so down bad

I would be interested in Day’ron Sharpe & Cam Johnson if they’re cleaning house.

Neubeck thinks there's a real possibility they do another soft punt this summer, and cross their fingers for a star at the deadline or go back at it again next summer.

If they do that, they might as well just sell the team and move it to another city.

Yeah, they can't waste another year of Embiid's prime.

Embiid may be fine waiting until the trade deadline, but I can’t imagine he’s fine just punting on another year.

Embiid might be the only mvp to never make a conference finals. It’s not a great look and even if he might not admit it, I’m sure he’s tired of the criticism. That’s not to say his play / the injuries, haven’t been a huge factor in all this, but I still think that his patience will be tested if this offseason doesn’t go well.

It may be distasteful but Miles Bridges is the youngest and best available and won't cost any draft capital. I'm looking at him, Hartenstein to play with Embiid and for him when he's out. Offer Klay 4 years and let him spot up. Even more distasteful, Kevin Porter. Someone is going to sign these dudes....

Who is the “everybody” you’re referring to? Stormi and 76ciology said he is a role player. And Stanford said he is top 50. And none of them wanted to offer all of our picks.

You’re losing all of the context here. First, very few people on this board were willing to trade four firsts for Mikal. Maybe a few posters, but I feel like it was def a small minority. Second, I don’t think anybody thinks he sucks. The reaction is mostly that he isn’t worth five first round picks, which has been pretty consistent with the pulse of the board. You have to consider the context

Mikal is a very good player. Same with OG. I would love either on this team, but I personally would not have made either trade. The Knicks, in my opinion, overpaid for both, but they had the assets to do so. And if they win a title it will have been worth it.

Nevertheless, people having interest in these players, then being relieved that we didn’t overpay, isn’t really the same as what you gauged as the board’s pulse. I could be wrong as I didn’t collect any data, but I thought most posters agreed with my stance that four firsts were too much for Mikal. Especially since that’s all we could offer.

At that point just move to Portland and rebrand as the Jailblazers

We can't come close to a Rockets package for Durant unless they have a thing for IV's

And I could see Durant wanting to come here. Fits well, actually close to his hometown, he fits a need. I don't know if it rises the level of him pushing his way over here. Morey would give every single pick and swap for Durant too.

Why not? If this summer is another epic failure, it’s time to get rid of him

FreeKD! Wonder if Suns expect to get back what they gave out for him. I’d gladly give up two firsts for two years of that contract.

Yeah we don’t have the assets, unless KD makes it uncomfortable for other teams. He has two years on his deal, so you would think the Rockets or anybody else would force his hand.

Does KD have much leverage?

time for some cope

Missing out on everyone is actually good longterm

IF Morey isn't a slave to his lust for named stars, a good GM would be able to pivot to some younger unproven names; the angry WIP callers will be pissed but it may be for the best...yknow like the Knicks did previously.

Now IDK who that maybe but yeah.

Go get Holland in this draft, and fill the roster out with 23-28 yr olds who can shoot and defend and hell maybe even trade for Ingram and actually let a team gel for once.

he wont tho so yeah cope over

We're not getting Durant folks, we can only offer 4 picks and Council. Relax.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
