Who knows what’s really going on with us right now

The 2 packages I’d consider for Jimmy

3, Sengun, Whitmore, and future picks

9, Bane, Clarke, and future picks

Kevin Durant is older than Jimmy. Not interested.

Sammy, I want him too, but Mikal's trade may have set the market. We'd likely have to give up Bam.

Mikal was so expensive because of his age but also contract. His 23-24M for two more years allows the Knicks to sign OG who they just traded for and have a legit two year window until some tough decisions are made. Nets knew this and made Knicks pay up.
Every situation is not the same.

Paul George is a top two way wing player. What are the Clippers going to get for him if he doesn't take their 3-155M deal like Kawhi just signed? Nothing? Wiggins and some parts from Warriors?

It's complicated. Donovan on his last year. If he doesn't extend it's pretty clear Cavs will trade him. And Herro Duncan (maybe to a 3rd team) and 2 FRPs is really not that bad for a dude on an expiring deal.

OG went for RJ (herro has more value around league), quickly and a 2nd round pick. Knicks are out. Nets are out. Our two biggest competitors for Donovan. Who else is competing for Donovan that he's willing to extend with? Should be the real question.

Cuz herro Duncan and 2-3 frps is looking about as good as it gets for donovan. Need to look at deals from all angles and not in a vacuum.

MIAMI (AP) — Bam Adebayo, one of the NBA’s top defensive players and soon to become a two-time U.S. Olympian, intends to sign a three-year, $166 million extension with the Miami Heat when the league’s offseason moratorium on such moves is lifted next month, a person with knowledge of the decision said Wednesday.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because neither Adebayo nor the team had revealed the decision publicly. Adebayo can sign the deal on July 6, by league rule.

Miami’s captain and starting center has two years and about $72 million remaining on his current deal with the Heat, the only team that he’s played for since Miami drafted him in 2017.

Adebayo has made the NBA’s All-Defensive team in each of the last five seasons, getting selected for the first team for the first time this past season.

What’s rocket doing by complementing a trade scenario for Kevin Durant? Paul George to warriors?!

Honesty, I am tired of near to or over the hill players.

These rumors are pretty wild! Like the Rockets supposedly willing to move Sengun (for KD?), that would be a clown move

Knicks had to pay a premium to deal with Brooklyn.

I don't suspect that this deal sets the market.

Nah. They got mikal. Will keep OG according to their beat writers. But will v likely lose ihart. They will probably run Mitchell and Precious at the 5 or small ball Randle there.

Not optimistic on the Mitchell front, but I do believe the Bam news coming out confirming he will be extending with Miami makes the absence of similar news about Mitchell extending with Cleveland warrant speculation. What's the hold up?
