That's a lot, but they will be much much tougher next year. Brunson and him were teammates on the Villanova championship team ( DiVincenzo too) and Hart played with them the previous 4 years.

Bridges and OG is crazy at the wings.

Brunson, Hart, Bridges, OG and Hartenstein.

Hey , are you guys interested in the second twin ?

CJ could be cheap for couple picks

I will say, I think the Nets did well. Spinning your wheels to finish - what were the Nets like 37-45 or something like that this year - -makes no sense. Mikal is a really good player - but he is a role player - more a 3 on the team. He is not a 1 or 2 type player.

Random Q:

Does anyone know if KD owns or rents here in the Valley?

Not nearly enough to beat the Celtics or get past a healthy Embiid Sixers squad who most certainly is going to add a max player.

The Knicks would be an easy-to-root-for hard hat type of team, but they still don't have have a true/consistent 2nd scoring option or shot creator and to win a chip that's mandatory.

It took Brunson playing wild minutes and shouldering the team to get as far as they did thru a weak/injured EC in the playoffs and he eventually broke down because of it.

Hart Bridges and OG will be really good on the wing - defending. I mean those three on defense are solid

But yes, who is that second guy, is it Randle - that can get you a bucket when you need a bucket and Brunson is not on his A game

After the trade he was looking like 1B player , last season he was looking like a 3 or 4 role player , he is still great on a contender, the same could be said about CJ , I hope he will end up somewhere on a contender
Yes Nets is in full tank mode now , not thrilled about it but it is what it is

Randle has proven time and time again his bipolar play (and health) can't be depended on.

There's a lot to say about team chemistry and the "Nova" effect, so I imagine they'll look really good in the reg season though. There's also shades of the '20/'21 Suns in how they're being constructed.

Their front line is about to change a lot as I believe two of the three (Randle, Hartenstein, Mitchell) could be goners.

Finally! Ishbia wising up! He understands that in order to drive the value up for KD, he has to make public statements addressing such rumors. Now the bidding war starts, and later Ishbia will say something like:
"Ultimately, we wanted to keep KD, but when you get an incredible offer to compete now and compete in the future, you have to explore all avenues, and this was a deal we just couldn't pass up. The Suns will always stay competitive, especially since we still have Devin Booker, and we wanted to build the roster to maintain flexibility and continue the path of playing winning basketball."

He was playing cornhole with D-Lo a couple days ago in the woods or something to that affect.
KD for Sengun, picks, whatever else (Dillon Brooks), Beal for D'Lo, Rui, Gabe Vincent, 17th pick? Draft Dunn at 17, Kolek at 22.

D-Lo / Kolek
Booker / Bol / Brooks
Grayson / Dunn
Rui / Royce
Sengun / Nurkic

Good point. Very good point. Plus even if the offers today are the same as in a week - Ish can always say "well this offer, we felt, was too good to paass up"

But you are right, he can't come out and say "yep Durant is on the block and our phone lines are open

Those will be late first round picks, not saying they are useless but when you have 11 FRPs in the next 7 years, it's time to cash in some. And they maybe able to restock soon should they trade Randle and Robinson.

Weren't they rumored to be in on Mitchell two summers ago -- that was the player to use multiple FRPs on. I like Mikal - one of my favorite players but he is for sure a role player.

Well he seems to be highly valued. Memphis apparently offered a ton of picks for him. He is one of the beset 3&D guys, hits a high % of 3s, can cut, is a solid passer, never turns it over, and created his own shot. And by most analysts, except for Slim, he is a top tier defender.

I am not sure all those picks are great either. I think some are heavily protected because I looked into him when I was looking at a potential KD trade for those picks, Randle, Hart and McBride.

Booker getting up shots in Flagstaff at Coconino High School. Gym looked familiar. I used to play pickup games every morning at 6am in that gym. Probably paddle boarding out at upper Lake Mary.

I imagine it's easy to play hardball with offers for player who has literally never missed a game of basketball in his life.
