All 3 are widely expected to be gone by #16, unf. Could see Holland falling cuz that shot (then again Amen and Ausar and Black went top 6 last year).
I've only heard that Carter has a lottery promise. **** happens.

Sure, weird draft and could see the older prospects rising.

The Ringer blows. Worst NBA coverage.

(I was wondering about Dunn at 41 btw)

Athletic has us taking Dillingham so

There's been a lot of discussion of Reed Sheppard going number 1 today in back channels. Very crazy.

I take back everything I've been saying about the draft.

Just take Filipowski if we keep the pick. I think I had an irrational dislike for him after his flop during the court storming, but he has big time all star upside. Wish his shooting wasn't miserable from FT.

Holland or Walter and I'll be happy.

Holland, Dillingham, and McCain are the guys I want.

I'd be okay with Collier or Walter

don't want Da Silva. Taking a center is a bit boring too although I could lie to myself and say Missi is Cameroonian Giannis for a bit

I am with you re: Holland/Dillingham/McCain. One of those three should be there at #16.

I know it’s looked down on as cheap and lazy but I have always liked comps. I have their ceilings as Gerald Wallace, Boston Isaiah Thomas, and a much-better rebounding Seth Curry.

I can’t help but think Zach Edey has an outside shot at being the best player in this draft when it is all said and done. What if he ends up playing more games than anyone else 7’3” or taller ever has? What if he ultimately becomes offensively unguardable in the NBA (and borderline passable defensively)? Isn’t that the very best version of Yao Ming?

He would have been the clear cut top pick twenty years ago. I get that the game has evolved, but IT will evolve again and all it will take is a player like Edey to dominate. I don't think he's going to be a superstar by any stretch. I could be wrong about that though. I think he's easily a starting center in this league and one that teams will have to game plan for. In my opinion he's far and away the better prospect between him and Clingan, but I may just be stuck in my own era.

KOC has us taking Ryan Dunn

who is the woat offensive player in the draft but maybe the best defensive one.

I mean, we’re drafting for someone else at this point, so I’m not getting attached. Trade will be announced right after.

At 16??? I will explode with anger if that happens!!! Did we not learn from Thybulle and Springer?

How confident are you? I would say it has to be Ingram then for #16 and (unfortunately) the LAC 2028 1st. I’ll consider it a small win if we still have that pick after the dust settles.

that makes it even more realistic actually.

maybe one day the player actually learns how to shoot

One way I could stomach us trading this pick is if it does go for Brandon Ingram. I would learn to accept that. It would be even better IF we somehow managed to hold onto the pick and still trade for him.

Good GOD! These contracts...In few years it's gonna be like "Average role player signs five year 482 million dollar contract with Heat."

He could be interesting at #41.

Castle is too high here. Not a good fit also with Sochan and Wemby.

As Clingan slides here, the higher chance that Edey would be available on our spot
