Can’t think of a better name .
Deni price is probably through the roof now with today’s Knicks trade. That contract is super valuable.

Deni was never an option. Washington has 0 reasons to trade Deni unless you are handing them a pick that they believe will be top 5 in 2025 and then they might believe they are getting a chance at a higher ceiling player. Given Deni's age, progression and contract it would be so stupid for Washington to trade him I wouldn't even accept the Bridges offer for him as there is no guarantee any of those picks would eventually lead to a better player.

That’s pre empting anyone still wishing for deni.

Cam Johnson is probably the most realistic PF option out there.

I was wrong on Deni...he just got traded to Portland for the 14th pick and a 2029 pick...I retract all previous statements about Washington having any competent people in their front office making decisions.

That's irritating. We easily could've topped that offer.

Not even sure if they fall in love with any prospect considering it’s still early in the draft night.

I just hope you are wrong on Presti.

Absolutely. I valued Avdija a lot higher than this. He had a great year, he is on a great contract, he is a position of need for us.

It basically took an oft-injured salary dump, a mid-1st, and some far-away distant future picks for him.

I would have offered KWilliams/Dieng/#12/second-worst 25 FRP/2 29 seconds. for Avdija and ran with it.

Even Dort/12/2 29 seconds would have been better, but I'd hesitate to trade Lu here

Troy Weaver just went to Washington via Detroit and immediately traded their best asset for #14 in a mid level draft and a long-term hope the 29 pans out.

They are going to try to flip Brogdan not hang on to him. So the offer would have needed to be #12, future 1st, two 2nds and whatever Washington thinks they can get for Brogdan, probably another 1st.

I'm not sure Brogdon is worth another full-first, maybe top 18(16/15/Lottery)-protected, etc...

If Wiz are doing a fire-sale... Kuzma is still on the table, do we entertain 12 and Dieng for Kuzma ? I would rather not, tbh, just spit-balling.

I'd only consider Kuzma after striking out in FA and no other legitimate big man trade options are there. Even in that scenario I might just wait to see what happens at the trade deadline.

If and only if everything else strike out.

Kuzma for Kenrich + 1 future protected first.

So we didn’t trade any big of note nor signed any in free agency.

I’m already settling for Cam Johnson. Give a top 20 protected OKC 2026 pick.

Sigh…

The finals ended 10 days ago.

The salary cap year hasn't even officially ticked over to 24-25 yet.

We gotta be patient.

We were hard capped after the Giddey/Caruso trade...is it still the case after lindy waters trade?

KCP is a good addition if we can't get a PF.

Once you're hard capped, you're hard capped.

Granted, it's irrelevant for OKC, cause they have no real way to take on enough salary to get to the hard cap.
