Unless they are among the faction that doesn't want Tobian Harris

I…could stomach it depending on the money and years.

Yeah, thats the scary part.

Its not necessarily about Tobias Harris the player, although I get the contention on that front as well.

Also, if the Pistons trade down when Clingan is there, I'll be sick to my stomach.

Not sure what he could be doing to this point. Before free agency, the chips kinda fall where they fall and you see what options are left when FA starts.

At least TL isn't blowing all his FA money before FA starts by trading for overpaid corpses for a few 2nd rounders in return.

I guess we don't know that for certain yet. Troy did that the day before FA started which is still a couple of days away this year.

Someone want to sort the free agent list by 3 point % and volume please?

Cade - Sasser
Ivey - Holland
Ausar - Grimes
Fontecchio
Duren - Stewart

Prefer some actual veterans

Holland is taller than Grimes. I'd swap those two.

Should really be:

Guards - Cade, Ivey, Sasser
Wings - Ausar, Holland, Grimes, Fontecchio
Bigs - Duren, Stewart

Wondering if Tyus Jones, Jonas V & a wing can help get us into the 20-30 win zone

Think he's a wing so 2-4 depending on match ups

Yeah, that's probably the most accurate way of seeing the current 9 man rotation. Would love a bit more size in both the backcourt and at 4/5, and a bit more spacing on the wings (though we're probably just going to have to develop that).

No interest in Tyus Jones?

Jonas V might be a option for extra size up front and there's the obvious NO connection

Haven't done a deep dive on free agents though

Haven’t deep dived either. Josh Green and Derrick Jones Jr. seem like interesting ones

Bulls and DeMar are unlikely to reach an agreement on a new deal in the period before the start of official FA June 30th and sources within the Bulls camp now feel like its possible DeMar wants to sign elsewhere. Sounds like he will stay with Chicago if they overpay but if the money is close he might take less money to go where he wants to go.

Nets reportedly open to moving Cam Johnson and/or DFS.

Lakers are expected to draft Bronny James with their #55 pick today.

Kings/Wizards were reportedly close on a trade that would have sent Kuzma + #26 to Sacramento for #13

Nuggets GM Booth feels like KCP might get bigger offers than what Denver can afford to hand out as team wants to avoid the apron "limitations of new CBA". Christian Braun expected to take on a bigger role in Denver if KCP moves on for a big pay day.

Would Ivey for Cam Johnson be a rip off for us?

I'd see if they'd throw in one of the Knicks 1st tbh.

I would say simply getting Monty away from this team, a full season of Fontecchio/Grimes instead of the Killian/Livers nonsense gets us to 20 wins already.

I'd be fine with bringing in Jonas on a 2 year deal, but probably only if we traded Duren (and I'd only be OK with that if the return was good). Just don't think there's space on the roster for 2 centers that aren't floor spacers. Jonas hits a three every 2 games. Not great.

Would be way better off signing a PF and moving Stewart to starting C, whose shooting at the 5 opens up effective minutes for Ausar and Holland.

Ideally, you end up targeting a better stretch-5 than Stew to be the starter within the next couple of years, and Stew becomes the bench big. For now, I'd be fine with Stew starting. Even an underwhelming Tobias/Stew frontcourt pairing with someone like Ausar starting at SF (as the only non-shooter) would be a huge upgrade from a winning perspective. Better on both ends of the floor.

Gary Trent Jr. and Tobias Harris are of course two other potential spacers worth looking at
