Love how on top of things we are here. 8 of us corrected him within seconds that this pick was actually for WAS haha

What a journey that pick has been on. Went from GSW to MEM, then from Memphis to Boston in the Smart trade. Then Boston to Portland in the Holiday Trade. Then Portland to Washington in the Avdija trade.

You study the draft a lot. I'm curious... how would you have felt about us making this trade. Giving up 2031 1st and 2030 swap. Would you think it's worth it?
Oh, absolutely. Rob Dillingham is basically Darius Garland. I think he has a chance to be better than him.
I like Dilingham, and he's a great fit there.
But giving up a swap 6 years from now and an unprotected pick isn't nothing.
Still, its a worthy gamble for Minnesota I think.
I mean, we're talking about picks 6 years from now.
I don't think the wolves really care about that right now.
They're legit title contenders now. They just added the best prospect in the draft at the only position they have a need for..for some picks 6 years from now.
Great trade, imo.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

MIA, Philly, LAL are three total wildcards in sequence.

He's got the wingspan to play the 2. I'm saying this for the first time. Great pick by the Kings.

Good for both teams IMO. Edit: 5 years from now my guy Wemby will be around Chip age, they will be able to get some guys with those picks (trades).

Like a Fox/Carter backcourt.
I was right! lol
Carter is GOOD. 4th best prospect in the class imo so very good value at 13.
Is he too small to play next to Fox?
I don't think so.
He;s only 6'3" but has like a 6'9" wingspan, 42" vertical leap, rebounds like a PF, is built like a tank and had like 40 dunks this season..so he plays much bigger than 6'3".

People are saying Brad could have done this trade but he's still drunk from the 3 apple juices with a splash of vodka he drank at the parade...

Started with iggy salary dump, iirc. I wanted Danny to do that type of deal instead of signing Kemba. Then we got the pick anyways. Then traded it to the Blazers, then I forgot they traded it to WAS and got corrected 17225 times in 0.19 seconds.

So like Miami. Also gives them shooting depth for trades

We'll see, it depends on how good Dillingham will be. Young PG's can take some time to contribute to winning.

Like Carrington for Washington, especially considering they have nothing at PG. Signs of competency from Washington.

Great trade for Minny imo. That’s one way to skirt the aprons… acquire lotto picks for future picks with no salaries involved. You know Brad and Zarren are taking note.

What a journey that pick has been on. Went from GSW to MEM to dump Igoudala, then from Memphis to Boston in the Smart trade, then Boston to Portland in the Holiday trade, then Portland to Washington in the Avdija trade.
And it became a guy named Bub!

I think bigs are going to be flying off the board so the Celtics will probably have a good wing or point guard by the time they pick

The ringer draft guide has one of his comparisons as Max Strus, seems like a Miami type of pick.

Is he too redundant with Jaquez?
