Da Silva has a little Jacquez in him.

Honestly, Collier is a pretty massive value at this point. Big, physical, downhill guard with a very legit first step. Not the best fit with him being best with the ball in his hands... but the ceiling is as high as just about anyone in this class.
Obviously very in on Shannon as well.

Yes I too miss the days of hoping our 12th pick would be good.

The fact this is over two nights has ruined the draft though. Clueless move by the NBA, no ones watching tomorrow

Based on what? They're white? Knecht's standing reach measured at 7.5" higher than Pat's. And aside from the shooting, there's far more offensive craft to his game. He speeds up, then slows down, to score under control. Almost no way he's a good offensive player, unlike Pat, so that comparison's DOA. The question is his D. I'd take Pat on that end. Then Knecht's a core player.
He's more like Reaves, if we have to stick w/ a white guy, who will now join him as a teammate. But there are difference too.

I'm as excited for Holmes as I ever am for a prospect. There's only a few of us on him, but I'm not alone.

My top 3 guys for the Bucks at 23 went 14, 15 and 18. A small tip of the cap to my draft analysis this draft year, a thank you.

Dunn, Tyson or Shannon would be cool. Fully expecting filipowski at this point.

DaSilva had a low ceiling, but he's definitely a rotation player in a winning team.

He declined a work out with us so I can't imagine there's much hope there

If the Bucks are truly in “win now” mode (obviously they are), the thought of a one and done or 19 year-old with a “high ceiling” is laughable. Shannon is a grown-ass man and contributes on day one while filling a need on the wing.

Memories….
If Paul was the best player in the 2005 NBA draft, why did the Bucks pick Bogut?
One reason was fit. Then-Bucks GM Larry Harris says the organization leaned toward Bogut over Paul because the team already had four guards they liked on the roster: T.J. Ford, Charlie Bell, Mo Williams, and Michael Redd.
The thing that won the Bucks over, though, was Bogut’s approach to the draft process. Prior to the draft, Bogut’s agent, David Bauman, came up with the idea to approach the draft process like an interview at a “big-time bank or prestigious law firm.” Bogut explains:We put together a strategy of showing up to these draft workouts and meetings as a business interview. My agent helped me, and we drew up a resume, full-on like it was a job interview. So, when I showed up for the meetings with both teams, with the GMs and the owners, I put a prepared resume out on the table for them to read. I showed up in a suit and tie and treated it as a job interview.
This tact especially impressed the then-governor of the Bucks, Herb Kohl. Bogut’s professionalism and snappy dressing blew away the U.S. Senator and businessman who started Kohl’s department store.
While he had seen players wear suits in draft interviews, Harris says the “resume thing” was something he’d never seen before. This “Corporate America strategy sealed the deal” for Bogut to the Bucks, and Paul fell to No. 4 and the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets.

I don't think so. Sounds like he has impressed in workouts and his shot was better than expected (though I'm sure if it was suddenly amazing, he would've been picked already).
