Well, if there's anyone who will know how to use Knecht, it is JJ Redick.

That's a legitimately concerning observation. Morey fielding these munchkin rosters that are getting murdered on the boards and dominated by bigger, more athletic teams.

He needs to overhaul his team-building.

McCain + Maxey backcourt is absolutely destroying me right now.

Two <6'3 guards that can't pass, can barely defend and are two of the top five shooters in the league on opening night.

Surely this isn't the plan?

So now I've gotta stay up late refreshing Twitter for a trade, knowing it will happen at like 3 in the morning and I won't find out until tomorrow anyway

Nothing wrong with painting his fingernails, respect that. Would just rather him be like 6'5" or have some gas to get into the paint.

Since we’re at it. Time to add Kai Jones here. Then we can form a boy band with Oubre, McCain and Kai Jones.

McCain is a good DHO Embiid partner. I don't think he can play with Maxey, but I wouldn't be surprised if he played all non-Maxey minutes by midseason if we keep him.

The other thing about him is I think he's likely to max out his defensive potential given his physical limitations. He's both a good on ball and help defender. Smart and committed on that end.

So not only does he not fit our roster, but is the most non-Philly player they could find. 6'3" guard with a 6'3" wingspan, my god.

His ass better be traded.

McCain has a 33 inch vert lol. That powerful base all for nothing.

Maybe we brought him in to make Kyle Lowry feel less cooked athletically and to gain confidence.

I don’t mind McCain as a bench guard. We’re about to lose Melton anyway so have an elite shooting 6th man who’s a plus rebounder for his position makes sense.

Wouldnt it make more sense to draft Knecht if the intent is to convert it into a trade asset?

He doesnt even fit with the Pels because they got another munchkin with CJ McCullom

He can cram. Not often, but it happens.
