pg but he was the #1 recruit of out high school and was projected to go top 3 earlier this year. very talented player. if we get him, we can use deuce as trade bait to get an upgrade at C

The roster has enough space to carry 2 first rounders, but you could still be right. We have no players drafted in 2023 or 2022 on the roster, so it's not like they're carrying too much youth. (NBDL signings don't count).

Their salary is right on the border of the apron, which I think makes the difference between a full MLE and no MLE< so that could be a factor. Time will tell.
