Not really getting the ‘guard who can’t shoot’ comments

Seems like he’s got ability on the move, catch and shoot and off the dribble. Interested to see how he looks with Scottie making plays

He shot 32 % on mid range jumpers, 34% on 3s. Not a good shooter, at least when he was at Baylor.

He can say he's the best shooter and be confident, but numbers say otherwise

Really love that he gets to the line a lot. He also has an assortment of offensive moves. He has the potential to develop into a legit scorer

Not really concerned about the percentages. He was asked to be the go to scorer as a freshman in the Big 12. He’s the type of player who will be a lot better with NBA spacing

At that pick I was having in order

Collier
Walter
George
Filipowski
Missi
Holme

I can’t be mad !

Now I hope one of Filipowski or Holmes or Missi unexpectedly fall to 31.

Not expecting it but we never know

Welcome Jako’be

I guess maybe GTJR is not going to be back. Or maybe I am over reacting

I happy with

Hope we develop him well. 3+D shooter is defo needed. I liked that blurb about him going to the FT line a lot.

Thought he might fall but liked him from 12-19.

Hmm, The scouts/reports say he can shoot, but a couple guys on RealGM say he can't! I'm so conflicted

Let's see what the Scottie effect can do for him.

I am sure he is a good kid and hard worker but where does he play? and does Dick start now?

How can you not like the fit? You were expecting a starter at 19???

If anything it might signal that we aren't going to spend a lot of money to bring GT Jr back. I doubt Dick's minutes affected by this at all.

honestly didn't have him on the radar after the draft lottery because I just assumed he'd go earlier at some point. really quite happy that he dropped to us. one of those swings we needed to go right for us as they navigate this rebuild

There's no big slide happened before we select, so I guess the board is not going to exite for it
