He’s your Kenyon Martin type but with a better three ball. Major finisher.

We can simply use what he brings.

From Sam Vecenie

Since 2008, there have only been 11 seniors selected with an assist rate (AST/TO) of 1.2 or worse, per Bart Torvik’s database: Buddy Hield, Jimmer Fredette, Chris Duarte, Ochai Agbaji, Matisse Thybulle, Marshon Brooks, Quincy Pondexter, Lazar Hayward, Davon Reed, Carrick Felix and Orlando Johnson. Hield and Thybulle are the only two hits in that group.

Terrence Shannon Jr AST/TO: 1.14

For those that complained the Gobert trade had drained all our picks, we just had two 1st round picks in one year. It's too bad we couldn't package both those picks for something even bigger (maybe that is coming later in the summer).

He was accused of putting his fingers in a girl in a crowded bar.
Defense showed there was another man in the bar that night who had been accused of doing the same thing at that bar 2 weeks earlier.
Could have been a case of mistaken identity.

I feel bad for the girl who went through some serious stuff on social media for it who was probably assaulted but maybe not by the person she thought did it.

Guarantee he will be asked about it when introduced to local media....probably by KSTP

This definitely isn't a Vecenie draft for us

Vecenie has talked extensively about Shannon. Doesn’t like him. Thinks despite his age has a really poor feel for the game. For the modern game, need high BBIQ guys that move the ball quickly.

I like his scoring ability though, and I can’t imagine how much that sexual assault charge hanging over his head affected his focus this year.

Booooo, Scheierman is gone. Such a Boston pick. High BBIQ. Great shooter.

Ummmm, we cannot trade our 1st round pick until 2033, and owe swaps in 2026 and 2030.
We have control of ONE of our own first round picks in the next 7 drafts.

yeah, Sam's my guy, he puts in a ton of work

but for what the Wolves need at this point, for next few seasons, can't really argue with the picks, I doubt even Sam will

There goes Scheierman.

Still a lot of talent on the board for us to look at for pick 37.

Filipowski, Christie, Furphy, Kolek, Mccullar, Justin Edwards, and Tyler Smith.

Potentially could draft and stash Nunez or Djurisic

Wish there were some better true centers left but nobody really pops out for me.

The Wolves should have a really fun Summer league team with Dillingham, Shannon, (pick 37), Miller, and Clark. I'd probably even send Moore and Minott (Spagnolo?).

yeah, there are basketball-related concerns with Shannon.
Very very sticky with the ball, did not have caliber of production over his first 4 years to be drafted.

Ball movement absolutely critical in Finch's system, Sheierman may have been a better fit for us.
We need to add more high IQ guys, BBIQ is something we struggle mightily with when things are not going well.

I don't think there is any chance Shannon will be as bad as Moore though, he can actually shoot.
Maybe Shabazz Muhammad with a little better handle.

I like Filipowski as a Kelly Olynyk type. Much better passer than Luka Garza.

Christie and Furphy make a ton of sense.

Surprised teams are so low on Kolek.

We have traded away 4 future FRPs and two swaps, so we have mortgaged our future to try and win now. So go big or flame out.

All in on Tyler Smith at 37 or Djurisic. We are gonna get someone good though.
