A BIG guard that can shoot, Morey. A big guard! Pieces have to fit. You already have a munchkin. Jesus, this shouldn't be so hard.

I hold out slim hope they are trading this kid.

Gonna play devil's advocate:

What if turns out we get PG13 to play SG with Maxey and the plan is McCain runs unit 2 with Lowry and Council? How do you feel in that scenario?

I'm not too worried about the whole 8 MPG where Norse actually takes Maxey off the floor.

Yeah, hopefully McCain is every bit as impactful as Dennis Rodman was throughout his career. Great comparison!

That's the thing. Liking the pick in spite of the fact that we already have close to the exact same thing makes little sense. There are much bigger needs here than a guy to fill in the 10-12 minutes Maxey isn't on the floor. I'd get it if there weren't legit choices on the board, but this just makes no sense.

This will allow Maxey to play less minutes. So far that is the best rationalization I've heard in regards to drafting McCain.

Then Morey is going to call teams and shop him around, proclaiming he's the next Steph Curry.

Nurse actually has to take Maxey off the court, though. He showed no inclination of doing that last year. Giving him a rookie doesn't seem like a strong negotiating point to change his mind, but maybe that's just me.

again we STARTED Lowry next to Maxey in the playoffs...they will play together some. Hell we had Payne in at the same time lol. Defense didn;t really fall off. Couldn't **** score because Lowry is washed offensively.

its an 82 game season and if McCain pops...he becomes attractive to teams in a trade.

I don't get the crashing out really.

McCain may turn into a good player. Knecht is good now. Makes no sense when your cornerstone is a 30 year old injury prone center. Smh.

Seriously. There's no point fuming about it right now.

I feel bad for the kid that he's being drafted into a situation this desperate, and he might not even be here in a few days anyways.

I imagine that we'll have more clarity when PG makes a decision. The McCain/Missi PHI/NOLA thing has me uber intrigued.

I'd take Filipowski at 41 if he's there.

Point being, determining toughness because of painted nails and having fun dancing is a weird and bad barometer, imo.
