I don't care if the Sixers trade for Luka Doncic, if the Sixers take Bronny tomorrow it will ruin the entire summer.

I'll be quite surprised if Knecht has a better career than McCain. But like many munchkin guards, it'll probably be the 2nd or 3rd team to benefit from McCain.

I'd be willing to offer McCain to TOR for 31. With nothing else added.

Cutting off nose to spite face? Maybe. Doesn't make it less true.

again yall keep harping on this like we didn't start Melton and then Lowry next to Maxey.

We can live a stint or two a game.

AGAIN I would have taken Knecht too but both really fill the same niche of knock down shooters and dudes we can run the JJ stuff with Jo...who are targetable defenders. McCain has upside due to age and work ethic, Knecht has a few inches of height.

I'm sure we can trade for Duncan Robinson if you all want Knecht so much.

I think we should try to sign Harden. He'd clearly be the third banana now and I think he respects Maxey enough to willingly play a support role. Lowing his usage will make him more efficient. There's still the playoff demons but I'll take my chances.

Kiss and make up guys.

Harden and Naji Marshall or Jalen Smith with the cap space.

I don't love McCain but this is spot on. I wanted Walter of the folks still around personally who is a better defender, but none of these guys are turning the Sixers fortunes now or in the future. McCain will be traded most likely anyway. If he stays I think it should be fine as a microwave off the bench.

There's also the fact he straight no shows elimination playoff games.

Morey says he had McCain as a top 10 pick and was surprised he was there and apparently passed on a trade.

Morey: "We had McCain as a top-10 player in this draft...If you can get a player who is hopefully rotation ready at a very young age...We really think this guy is gonna be a 76er for a very long time."
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Point being, determining toughness because of painted nails and having fun dancing is a weird and bad barometer, imo.

I'm not here to start fighting with you on here. I don't like the pick, you do... That's fine. Guess what? I'm still going to tease him about painting his nails. I doubt he loses an ounce of sleep over it and neither should you. If you're into painting your nails and dancing around in booty shorts that's totally your choice. We can still talk basketball. Don't get upset because it's not my cup of tea. At the end of the day if we are keeping McCain, then I am going to root for him and I hope like hell he amounts to a player in this league. Let's leave it at that ok? You're a credible poster on here that I respect. I'm poking fun at the nails and dancing, but I promise you it has zero impact or effect on me personally and I truly do not care at the end of the day.

It makes sense, his picks were Maxey and Springer. Both freshman with some pretty elite traits. Springer had some huge advanced numbers. Maxey was going nuts towards the end of the season at UK even though he was shooting poorly.

McCain fits all those metrics.
