Just shooting But so many ways he can get himself going with subtleties.. I have always believed there are some things you cannot measure.. Confidence and feel for the game... Decision-making. And a good feel for the game..
I also believe he compliments. Our star players beautifully.. And perhaps.
Better than sam hauser can re create out of fast close outs..
Yes! Mullen was the player that he reminds me of the most. Mainly both are lefty shooters that can really shoot and have an all around game.
One of the things that stood out to me about Baylor's game when watching him in the tournament, he didn't shy away from the big moments. When the game was close, he wanted the shot. I love players like that.
As I stated already you can't measure confidence and this kid appears to have a lot of it..

I didn't didn't Baylor Scheierman would be available at 30. I wanted Edey, but knew he would be way gone. I wanted Ryan Dunn because I felt he would be around when we picked. I felt that Baylor Scheierman would go around 18-25 range.
Welcome to Boston, Baylor! Summer League is right around the corner. Let's go!

17.5/9.8/4.5 per 40 minutes with a .601 career TS% is pretty solid production.
24%Dreb% and 20%Ast% also very good rates, along with a guy that gets to the line and hits threes.

Whether it's money and a pick or just second round picks I wish we can trade up and target one of the better players.. I still believe there are quite a few really good gems waiting for us in round 2..
If we don't move up, I like Anton Watson at 54, if he is still available.

As much fun as it is to draft the mystery box player, I like that we got someone who has a clear elite skill. Think we got ourselves a player.

Re: Welcome to Boston, Baylor Scheierman!
Wait this 6’7” guy leads college basketball in total defensive rebounds for a college career for the entire current century?
That’s pretty freaking wild I’ve known about this guy for awhile but had no clue about that.

Re: Welcome to Boston, Baylor Scheierman!
He is the first and only Baylor since Elgin Baylor in the NBA database.
This is the 3rd time the Boston Celtics drafted a Creighton Bluejay (Gene Harmon in 1974, George Morrow in 1981).
Like Sam Hauser, Baylor is a middle child.
His coach, Greg McDermott, is the father of another sniper and ex-Bluejay, Doug McDermott.

He’s a left handed Luka Doncic with less girth.

That's an amazing comparison. I lived in SF in the Run-TMC days and Mully is one of the greats. He didn't have the athletic ability but was smart and moved well on the court. I can see some of that in Scheierman.
He has the ability to be a playmaker at times too. Maybe we can place him somewhere between Mullen and Svi!

Re: Welcome to Boston, Baylor Scheierman!
From the highlights this looks like a good pick.
I’m honestly getting too old to pretend I know a thing about these late round draft picks.
I throw on the YouTube and as long as he’s getting that orange thing through that white net it’s an A+ pick for me. Welcome Baylor!

You could be a scout for Charlotte.
