At 37 I'm hoping for a developmental shooter (Furphy or Christie) or a big (Filipowksi or Smith).

I could see one of three things happening. Gonna preface this by saying I don’t watch college ball or follow the pre draft stuff closely so I don’t much about the talent available.

1. We choose the best available in the hopes of making them a two way.

2. We pick a draft and stash.

3. I think this is likely but I don’t know. We trade back multiple times to acquire a lot of 2nds for future years to replenish the war chest. I also think Moore is moved off the team in one of the deals.

I have Mogbo, then Bona, then Djurisic as a draft and stash then Bronny as a 2 way.

Mogbo looks like athletic Slowmo.

Portland is building a "too big" team with Clingan + Ayton. How many 1st they now gotten for the Lillard trade with Brogdon turning into another mid 1st.

Maybe Filipowski for value? Don’t love him though. Highly doubt any of the PGs. Can only develop 1 at a time.

Something about Shannon I didn’t like. I’m not sure how he’d perform without the ball in his hands.

The 2030 swap with the Spurs is only top 1 protected.

No. We still have the rights to Spagnolo (may have spelled that wrong,) and he still hasn’t come over and doesn’t count against our roster space. That is why it is called draft and stash.

Younger to me is a tiebreaker, but not the decision maker.

I think we get two of the best players in first round tbh. I hate that they are bringing up Shannon’s legal
Issues since he was found innocent.

Right or wrong a sexual assault charge will always be brought up.

I barely looked at the draft because I was too busy sulking over how the season ended. I didn't even know it was going on. It seems to me we added a lot of offense. Was Dillingham considered top ten worthy by most? Was Shannon our best option at 27?

I could not be happier to see Connelly take care of business … we needed a PG … love this kid! Then we get a NBA ready (IMO) wing via Shannon… these two players instantly add depth and offense.
