Not much left for Wings...
Ajay Mitchell or Filipowski at 33 would be fine, but if Veccinie already has Osa at 33, might not even matter.

The only criteria worth basing a pick on is if he will contribute while Big O is still alive. This pick fails.
Better be a trade, but what idiots would trade up to get this guy?
His quickness jumps off the screen. That's his best attribute.
Also the third person doesn't suit you.

Maybe the upside to a 2-day draft is other teams whip themselves into a frenzy overnight trying to move to the early second to get someone that's fallen? Clutching at straws here

Recap from Horst presser:
Shades of Brandon Jennings from AJ Johnson in regards to his story and being a skinny / quick guard. Great character, mature and will be on the roster next season.
Draft Room that was shown wasn't their actual draft room (with some big chuckles). Controlled chaos and planning for every scenario, looked at a lot of different trade options with the pick.
Looking through options at 33, like the group of players at the top but still looking at asset management with the pick. Doc involved and has been great at some of the workouts and looking at video of the players available at 33 to have an informed opinion.
Mentions getting another big to support Giannis, Brook and Bobby (wouldn't read too much into the names, had to name everyone on the depth chart currently or there would be red flags). Specifically mentions change of pace big being a need.
Few mentions of Chris Livingston i've seen now, may be a guy who could get into the rotation next season as a wing defender / slasher (my opinion).

Getting real worried that we're running it back with Brook/Portis/Pat.

Roster needs a lefty…I’d be happy with Kolek, Ajay, or Tyler Smith for another Dice roll pick

Yeah at this point I’m resigned that its going to be Oso, love him but that’d be another reach. I really think tgat I want Ajay but I would be fine with Tyler Smith. We need to buy another pick and grab NFaly Dante

Also we really need to sign DJ Burns UDFA to help teach AJ Johnson how to play on the Herd

Really hope we get #33 traded, since the pick is gonna be wasted on Oso. Oso is Diakite without the shooting, and that is a pretty sad player.

Re: 2024 NBA DRAFT THREAD - Round 2 Thursday 3:00 pm CDT - Spoilers OK
I’ve completed my fan scouting of the guys left this morning. I’m going for Filipowski.
Seems like the most polished big left on the board. Has smooth offensive moves. A few McHale type up and unders in the highlight reels. Can maybe stretch the floor. And has a twin brother like Brook. Only negative is he had surgery on both hips two years ago. Viewing him as a Fred Roberts guy we can get some rotation minutes from.
This now means the Jazz will select him right before us at #32.
