Crazy draft. As a player I think Kolek comes in and is a reliable backup from the start but no idea how illiteracy can affect a guy. If true

Kolek fail English? That's unpossible. He could just be lysdexic, like Jaime Lannister, and the test was improperly administered by an untrained technician. Doesn't necessarily mean he's stupid. He could have high intellectual rizz.

It comes down to expectations as well. In the lotto, you want to make damn sure you at least get a rotation player. At 31, the options look more appealing because you're only hoping that player develops into a rotation guy.

If they are able to move back in the draft and pick up 2 more in the 2025 or 2026 drafts I think they should take it and run.

It was supposed to be terrible at the top, and flat throughout. That still seems to be the consensus.

For example, Vecenie has a standard way to categorize his prospect tiers year over year, and this year his top guys landed in his 3rd tier. He did have a massive group of players in his 3rd and 4th though.

#31 is sort of a "neat" pick to have for discussion purposes, as it opens you up to more different value propositions due to where it is --none of which may materialize. But the value is still limited no matter what we do with it -- you can't call it gold.

I think you misunderstood me, I was continuing the joke you started by pointing out the irony of there being two spelling errors in your post (which, ironically, pointed out the irony of there being spelling errors in his post).

This is mostly the case. History doesn't bode well.

I mean, that's just the nature of second round picks.

Most of them don't become stars - heck, I'd be unsurprised if the majority of them weren't still in the league 5 years later.

But there's the 0.1% chance that there's a Jokic, Ginobili, Brunson still on the board and we just need to sniff him out

Tyler Kolek at least as useful as Payton Pritchard off the bench?

Yeah, absolutely. And when I buy a lottomax ticket, I'd be thrilled if I won one of the $1million prizes. But given that the most likely outcome is scrap paper, I'm still really happy getting a $20.

How poor Tyler fits the 2024-2025 roster lineup...

I would hope it's severe dyslexia, cause most dyslexics still learn to read.

So assuming this tweet is real, if the test is improperly administered (in a stressful environment, with unclear instructions, etc) it won't have been validly administered, thereby understating his rizztellectual.
