Wirh the Pistons taking Holland at 5, I’d have done this deal. I’d even taken Collins back in the deal too.

I wouldn't eat Collins but I'd taken #10 and #32 for #5 instead of drafting Holland. It has been brutal being a Detroit fan, especially the past 4-5 years, the nightmare never ends.

I'd probably do Williams and 32 for Holland. I think Holland has higher upside, but the lack of shooting that Detroit has seems like it is going to be a problem for developing guys.

I prefer Williams over Holland myself. I mean, I'm splitting hairs here, they are both very close to me. But, if I had to pick one I'd go with Williams.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Holland’s motor is the differentiator.

I like Holland too, I would have been thrilled to Nab him at 10 as well. I just have more faith in Williams' offensive game panning out.

Both could be great wings. They both have work to do. Williams was certainly on my list, especially if we did trade down. I think we both did well without making a trade.
