salary dump again. Not sure what happened to him. Houston really doesn't need more kids, but at this price you kinda got to I guess.

Worthwhile gamble for Houston, even if it doesn't work out.

Yeah his value dropped a ton since last season. Weird off the court problems with him.

I think absolute worst case scenario he's the bench gunning wing that won't play most nights I wanted them to sign in free agency except he actually has upside so I am pleasedTexas Chuck wrote:salary dump again. Was thinking guys like Garrison Matthews

More time for trades with the draft being two days

This seems like a great, low cost gamble for Houston. Only problem is that he won't see any playing time with this rotation. I suppose he'll be spending a ton of time with RGV to see if he can get into a groove.

The NBA needs relegation. Atlanta is in shambles.

Didn't know this happened. After a good rookie year salary dumping him given this seems so dumb and it's understandable that he was going to struggle or maybe even not play at all. I wouldn't want to.

This Article, when it came out, hopefully shined light not just on A.J. Griffin but also his dad Adrian Griffin, who was coaching the Milwaukee Bucks last year. But, it didn't. It got no traction. I rarely read about it on this board and someone close to the situation posted about it on Reddit with even more detail than the article provides.
Sad situation all around, no doubt.

How when he never played under Quinn? Also like mentioned a lot of weird going on with him and his dad off the court....did not have a good 2nd year after strong rookie year.

Hate it for Atlanta, seems like a lot better ways to shave salary. I didn't think Griffin had a ton of trade value but why pull the plug now? I would have rode it out another year even if that means I get nothing for him in the future.

Absolutely terrible. Truly my greatest fear as I have a 2 year old happily running around right now.
Just To be clear, this is AJ’s nephew, correct? Just want to make sure I’m following all the A Griffin’s involved.
