That's what you get from a guy on the veteran minimum

Why not show when EG struggles instead of elevating him when he plays good once in a blue moon?

He is averaging 11.9 points and 2.2 assists shooting 39.1% from three with the highest volume on the team. He plays 29 mpg.

His NET rating is +3.3 so he is clearly a positive player on the court.

He is capable of EXPLODING in some games and just win a game for you. Of course he can not do it on every game, but not every bench player is capable of that. That's why I was talking about a great and efficient game from him. He was huge in the last one and our best player only behind Book.

And don't forget that he is on a minimum deal. Crazy production for a guy on that type of contract.

Think the problem with Gordon is that his stinkers are shockingly bad, if his shot is off then he offers nothing. Overall production for his contract is fine, can you imagine if you had to rely on Saben for the first guard off the bench all season long ?

Another great performance by Gordon. 24 min , 2 points and 1/4 FG against tank team.

I think KJ Martin or TJ Warren would be better than him. Even if he is better than their in offense , it would be nothing advantage when he shots brick after brick. I prefer their because they are can add us , little impact in defense than Eric

One good game, two bad games, one good game, two bad games. Rinse and repeat. But don’t tell Saber this he won’t stand for such mockery.

He will not score 20 points coming from the bench on every single game, that's why he averages close to 12 points per game with good percentages from three.

He isn't gonna have always a big role and shots available for him, but he can step up if one of Book/Beal/KD is out.

Every bench perimeter scorer has low scoring games. Malik Monk is probably the favorite to win 6th MOTY and he has had a bunch of those games this season.

Gordon is doing his job and he is the last of our problems.

Phoenix Suns guard Eric Gordon is expected to join a well-represented Bahamian national team for an Olympic qualifying tournament in Spain starting July 2, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Whether he will be a 2024-25 Suns player by then should be known. Gordon, 35, has a player option worth $3.3 million that he must exercise by June 29.

Apparently he is 50/50 on if he will opt in and come back. I personally wouldn't mind him NOT opting in and coming back. He is frustrating as hell!

I know EG was disappointing (and at times very frustrating) given the fanfare he was welcomed with but reality is that's what you normally get in the vet min market and more of then not, you're getting an even more frustrating and less productive player. I mean, for roughly the same money we signed Yuta, Metu and KBD, none of whom could even carve out consistent rotation minutes, let alone show enough to be kept around for the playoffs.

I wouldn't be super made if he didn't opt in but the realistically, you're probably not getting someone else of that caliber on the vet min again. People crap on Kyle Lowry as being fat and old but again, we're talking vet min market here, we should be stoked we could even sign a PG of his calibre with that money.

Sucks because I think EG would have a highly effective weapon in Bud's system. I feel like he wants a bigger role which is kind of strange because he did play 28 minutes a game. Still... he's 35 years old, and Suns need some youth.

I wish he picked it up as I believe we could have been able to trade him for a couple of seconds.

He came and went and will not be remembered as a Sun.

He's the 76ers problem now

I will not miss his ill advised 30ft 3pt shots but I will miss his driving ability and ability to score around the paint.
