A few players are being salary dumped for 2nd round picks.

Magic likely don't do that as they want to maximize cap space.

Some names I like at #47 and I feel they should select someone to be a Two-Way Deal, sign outright with Osceola or stash overseas. If a future 2nd is available, I'd take it but I'm advocating for The Magic to pick someone here. Don't sell it!

Just remember though, 3 future 2nds that won't be better than #47 got the Magic what is looking like a nice first round draft swap with Phoenix or Washington in 2026.

Furphy, Filipowski or Kolek would all be good picks, but doubt any of them fall. Kolek especially feels like that early second round guard who will outperform expectations that there is every year.

Mogbo to the Raps to start off the second round is surprising, but they've developed some good wings before.

Yeah, it doesn't feel great. But at the same time I get that you probably don't gain back the costs it takes to rent out a big venue, plus security and other staff etc. Would you even be able to sell enough tickets to get a nice crowd for the second round, especially at 4pm on a weekday?
